  • The Official Week 3 Packers-Buccaneers GameDay Thread

Stuck on the end of this ball and chain
And I'm on my way back down again
Stood on a bridge, tied to the noose
    Sick to the stomach
You can say what you mean
But it won't change a thing
    I'm sick of the secrets
Stood on the edge, tied to the noose

You came along and you cut me loose
    - Coldplay

Original lyrics next week if the Packers manage to win this game.

    Packers 72
    Bucfuckneers 0

    Power to the Packers!

The Packers are good enough to beat Tampa at full strength if things go right. Tampa is way short of full strength with Evans not playing. If Godwin and/or Jones are also out and a couple of their other WRs are coming off minor injuries, the Packers have really lucked out. I doubt Fornette is missing, but that would help too. Even Barry's lame assed D scheme should stop them. If he wakes up and uses our super Corners in man coverage, so much the better. Hicks on D and maybe some in their O Line are apparently hurt too.

I'm not gonna predict a score. That can be jinxful. But we have an extreme likelihood of winning in these weird circumstances. On the slim chance we don't, maybe I and whoever else are optimists around here might have to revise our thinking a little bit.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

          Packers 20

          Bucs 20
          I can't run no more
          With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
          Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
          A thundercloud

Pack plays bad in Fl heat all the time. Only shot we have is that Bucs are banged up.

I think we come out ok, close by half but need to scramble in 4th and lose by a TD.

Impressed Watkins already managed to injure his hamstring. Think the game will be like 17 - 10 with (probably) the Bucs on top, but hoping we get a few breaks and win 24-10.

A bunch of negativity hahahaha. Too bad we don't have a "pick'em league" where all these people could pick against the Packers.

You’re mistaken on negativity. And I used to pick 60+% against the spread.

How many times have the packers played well in heat/humidity?

We do have a chance given the Bucs are banged up (but so are we). I hope we blow them out 42-3. But I wouldn’t bet any money on the Packers on this game. Not a dime.

They don’t wish for any original lyrics. lol

Have the title picked out: A Love Song For Aaron Rodgers. Just need to compose a verse about Jordan Love while dedicating it to Butte.

Buffalo lost to the Dolphins in the Florida heat, so I suppose the same could happen for the Packers, but I doubt it.

I'm watching RedZone. There's a hive of bees under the goal post in Tampa hahahahaha.

Why do Greg Olson look so much like Dexter Morgan, the serial killer?

"whos brady going to throw to"?

answer, whoever gets open, unlike our QB who won't throw it to a guy who's wide open but a yard out of place
