i honestly can't figure it out, its such a stupid complicated contract

it looks like we would get him with a 100 million dollar cap penalty if we cut him after the season

thats 66 million more then it would hurt us to keep him

Rodgers has been pathetic this year--that last throw was just a microcosm. They do everything to keep that play alive--then Rodgers one hops a wide open Runyan, who could have walked into the end zone. Not that it would have mattered.

I can't either. But my understanding is it was designed so that Rodgers can't be cut or traded because the cap hit would be so severe. Rodgers either continues playing for Packers or retires.
