I honestly don’t think MLF knows what to do with the team at this point. He did lead us to two 13 win seasons in a row, but this team is falling apart all around him, and he can’t figure out how to fix the problems.
This may be the year the Packers take a step backwards, but you learn a lot about people when things turn bad. It will be interesting to see if he can make the hard decisions even if the results are not immediately evident.

A win in this next game against the Bills could put the Packers back on-track for a good season. You're right there are a number of problems. But a big win, at the right time during a season can turn a struggling team around. I could see a win on Sunday night helping get the season back on track. LOL, and if you folks get too "down" about things... always remember, at least you are not the BearsOriginally posted by oldbutnotdeadyet View PostThere are many problems, and none have quick fixes. Hard to get excited about the Packers at this point.

Three 13 win seasons in a row. MLF isn’t going anywhere any time soon—as he shouldn’t. When the guy taking up 20-25% of the cap is below average, the team is going to struggle.Originally posted by Teamcheez1 View PostI honestly don’t think MLF knows what to do with the team at this point. Pack beat Buffalo 38 - 17Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

He will retire if he keeps playing like this IMO. Although hard to pass up stadium money like that.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostI can't either. But my understanding is it was designed so that Rodgers can't be cut or traded because the cap hit would be so severe. Rodgers either continues playing for Packers or retires.

Arod did not play a great game....some of his throws were way off and gave the receiver zero chance to do anything after the catch. It seemed pretty apparent the bum digit didn't help. Would Love have down better? Maybe...but if Arod says he's fine are you benching him?C.H.U.D.

It's not nearly that bad. His cap hit is 28M, or 13.25%. Still, Rodgers and Bakhtiari combined have a cap hit of 42M for not a lot of production. Next year it goes up to 60M.Originally posted by HarveyWallbangers View PostThree 13 win seasons in a row. MLF isn’t going anywhere any time soon—as he shouldn’t. That was just my thought this morning. ..... They have more probs than they have ever had under MLF. It might not be the Bills game though. Perhaps a little farther down the schedule.Originally posted by JABF View PostA win in this next game against the Bills could put the Packers back on-track for a good season. Very True ...... but they have to do it first, and that won't be easy. It certainly could happen, though.Originally posted by JABF View PostA win in this next game against the Bills could put the Packers back on-track for a good season.
