I think we play much better but going to be a tough game to win. We haven’t been very lucky, yet, and we’ll need some of that.

I do love what Arodg said on Pat’s show today. Applies to many posters here.

Me - I’m not giving up on my post season prediction.

The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.

I also think we play our best game of the year so far. We may not win, but I think we’ll play our best game.

As always, great stuff from Wahle. His best yet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wreNRT23ppQ&t=2029s

All's not lost but man, I'm so done with this FO esp after that total waste of draft in 2020. This is all on Gute, and the consequence of years of neglect. so foreseeable. i agree too: no answers this year

I struggle to see how Claypool makes us better ? He has had some terrible drops and struggles in contested catch situations. First drop or incorrect route and Rodgers will ignore him, just like he does everyone else after a mistake.

Maybe Gute can make his living off trades, FA, guys off the street, and UDFA's.
Gute has only made 4 picks in the 2nd round so far. If you still consider Jenkins a stud (I do) he has drafted 2 really good OL and Watson has barely played so can't be judged yet. Jackson was a bust, but most talent guys thought he should have gone in the 1st (I liked him coming out as well). Dillon is a co starter as well. I would say Gutes made hay on 3 out of 4 second rounders.

Intuitively I know you are wrong, but I can't make an argument against it based on real world results

At this point, you consider AJ Dillon a great pick in round 2 ?

Ok, enough with the foolishness. Gutes has had some misses, just like every GM in the league, but CUTTING most of his picks after the first? If we admit most 6/7s get cut and are out of the league fast lets just see who is still with us after 4 years.

Alexander is only remaining member of 1st draft, MVS and EQ left in FA and are still in the league.
Gary Savage and Jenkins are all starters. Summers and Holman are on practice squads.
Love Dillon Deguera runyan are on the team and contributors. Hansen garvis still with us.
Stokes Myers starters. Amari newman TJ Slaton shemale charles Hill all with us (Amari shouldn't be). Van Lanaan traded for a pick.
this years draft is obviously all with us still since its so fresh, but talk about dominating the 4th and 5th rounds. I believe this will go down as an epic draft eventually. That is clearly projection though.

A good draft is 2 starters and 2 contributors. We easily pass that bar in every draft except the one that netted us a top 5 CB and a WR that is starting for KC. Very little else to like about that draft.

I always am of the opinion the OL makes the back in most cases. Give Dillon adequete blocking and I think he is good. I don't believe I claimed he was a great pick. But if it bolsters your point, feel free to inflate my claims.

Edit: And my math sucks. Gutes has made 5 picks in the 2nd. 3 good players, 1 bust and Watson...jury is out.

OK, I'll step it back. Was Dillon a good pick ? I look at the RB's getting drafted in round 2 ........seeing hardly any go round 1 anymore. Not sure I want a grinder like AJ in round 2.

And when grading out GUTE, don't you almost have to validate Watson on two 2nd round picks ?

When I look at this the Gary/Savage/Jenkins draft looks sweet
The Love/Deguara/Runyan draft looks pretty sad

The others....ok but average at best if you want to slant it that way

Last years draft, IMO could be very very good

Allen Lazard won’t practice today and LaFleur says “we’ll see” when asked if he’ll miss games because of his shoulder injury.

Christian Watson will return to practice and be limited.

What a miserable day at the poker tables. Coulda/shoulda made better decisions, but couldn’t double up with multiple pocket Aces and Kings. Lost multiple all-in pots with pocket Aces and Kings. Fucking variances. All in all, pissed away $900 (all winnings from last week).

Checked wallet and all that was left was $115. Placed all that shit on the Packers, moneyline, @ +425

Help this miserable wretch out, Packers! Win the fucking game!!!!

I played poker in a casino one time. It happened too fast for me. I could barely process what was going on.
