Its gameday!!!...errr...NIGHT!
I generally hate the obligation and responsibility of gameday threads so this seems like a safe place to do my duty, yet get out of it after one week.
To Quote an all time great Brewers announcer, the Bills lead the league in every offensive category including nose hairs. They pass well, they run well, the QB scrambles well.
Oh...they also happen to sport the NFLs best defense as well. What could possibly go wrong?
For the first time I can ever recall, the packers are double digit underdogs with their preferred starting QB going back to the days of Anthony Dilweg. 10 and hook to be precise. I will be backing the road dogs tonight, but not sure a win is in the cards.
I expect Thin skinned Erin to bring his best. Spreading the ball around, letting Jones do his thing, controlling the clock and keeping Josh Allen off the field as much as possible. Erin is motivated by one thing and only one thing in life...sing it Aretha R-E-S-P-E-C-T. There's been a lot of disrespect thrown at him this season. Erin love to get him some god damn respect. Money...got plenty. Fame...check. But don't you dare imply anything is ever his fault and tonight he will prove it.
It almost feels like I'm reliving the later Favre years all over again. History repeats. Brent left town pissed that he wasn't appreciated for his heart breaking picks and piss poor playoff performances and left town motivated. He produced 2 of his best seasons immediately after. Erin felt the same way when we drafted Love and immediately produced 2 MVPs after a couple lack luster seasons of taking deep shots and not running the offense in an efficient way.
This might be the last "great" game we see from Erin. I'm hoping it triggers many more to come.
Packers 31 Bills 27. Tank crows endlessly about his +425 ticket with OPM (other peoples money) came in. The ARod haters love him again. Rodgers says all the right things because....well, he is getting his birthright...respect.
