  • The official Browns @ Commanders New Year’s Day game thread!

    Noon on Sunday.

The QB unsettled Commanders host the talented but underwhelming Browns. Deshaun Watson settling in at QB. A Browns win puts the Packers playoff berth back in their own hands.

Go Watson. Go Browns. Go pack go!

Crazy to think they are that close to controlling their own destiny. Still have to win out though.

So we are all DeShaun Watson fans this week?
        I can't run no more
        With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
        Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
        A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

Unlike last week when everybody we needed to lose lost, this coming week, Washington along with Seattle, Detroit, and the Giants all have fairly weak opponents. Our chance of getting that needed Washington loss is a lot stronger the 18th week when they play the Cowboys.

I was enjoying the Browns increased success and then they signed that POS to that ridiculous contract. So I've enjoyed watching them struggle.

Now I have to want them to win?

            Ugh.

How so? Cowfuckers would be playing their B-squad against the Redcoats.

Packers will only have themselves to blame if they miss the playoffs. Personally, I blame Christian Watson. This boy’s electric, to borrow Coldplay, I will admit. But man, he’s right up there with the Claymaker in terms of toughness and durability. The offense coulda used a spark from Watson in the games where it was more impotent than Tony O’Day without Viagra.

And Watson’s egregious drop on the very first play from scrimmage pretty much foreshadowed doom.

I could never cheer for the Browns with that giant douche at QB.

The best reason this need that a Washington loss may happen is that similar to Detroit, Washington has played over their heads and really isn't as good as their record. I think they'll lose to bith the Browns and Cowboys.
