Happy New Years! I hope you all have a great outlook for 2023.
The early Playoffs continue today! Riding a small wave after dispatching sub par and injured teams, the Packers have their true first NFC challenge today with the 12-3 vikings in town.
Which Packers team will show up today? The one that makes poor choices, bad angles, miscommunications or the one playing loose and confident. The line between those teams is dotted. With balmy Jan temps in mid 30s and the ice/slush storm from NYE behind us, the Packers finish their 22-23 season at home.
JB’s Defense has stepped up but still wildly inconsistent - allowing just 17 PPG in the win streak - a full TD better than beforehand.
Packers have erased large deficits in three of their past four wins. They’ve outscored opponents 45-9 in the second half during their win streak. Over their past six games, they’ve outscored teams 51-13 in the fourth quarter and overtime.
So expect more of the same today.
The Defense will get burned by Jefferson. But they’ll make a couple plays to keep it honest, too.
The Offense will play from behind and finally get into a 2nd half rhythm. I have a feeling it’ll be a ground game and ToP strat for the Pack today.
But can we avoid the one possession 11-0 fluke that the vikings have had this year?
