I think mofo should have been ejected for it. Players have been thrown out for far less physical contact. This asshole basically hammered down on the ref with his helmet while on the field where he’s not supposed to be taking it off. Him and you should be suspended a game or two.
He was off the field when his helmet was off (at least when he contacted the ref). I'm guessing he will get a fine as it wasn't intentional, but he was having a fit a the time.
I very much doubt it. The ref barely even noticed, and it obviously wasn't intentional. If he missed their Bears game, it wouldn't be a big deal anyway.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?
That's a good video. You can really see the one Viking defender leave the middle lane and go to the pile on the left where Nixon looked like he was heading. With a couple of good blocks on the right a huge hole is opened up with just the kicker to beat.
Watch 83 for the Vikings on the broadcast leave his lane -- he shouldn't have done that and I have no idea why he did -- but that left a big lane open for Nixon to run through (with good blocking by Garvin and Taylor) and it was dodging the K and off to the races.
Holding the Vikes to 3 after the blocked punt and then the KOR TD was a pivotal moment in the game. I can only imagine how loud the stadium was.

Yep, that goal line stand followed by the KO return was an 11 point swing. Vikings never recovered. Don't know how the Vikings will respond, but yesterday they justified everything their critics had ben saying about them.

I know I've said the Vikes have been lucky etc. (they have) but they are a good team.
Their luck seemed to run out yesterday, ricocheted passes turned into picks, missed FGs, all kinds of weird. They are closer to a 10 win team.
I'm curious where this version of the Packers team has been all year. The offense sputtered at times and the blocked punt can't happen but overall this was probably the closest thing to a complete game they've played all season. They were playing with more intensity since 2nd half of MIA game -- you can literally see it. They need to keep improving in all phases and they will be dangerous.
I’m now with Tex regarding #6. Dildo should probably be cut. Special teams is supposed to be his forte. He’s a terrible personal protector on the punt team. Bobble will tell you he’s only allowed two blocked punts. But that 2 too much.
Dallin Leavitt has been a mixed bag. I guess he's the heart and soul of the special teams and the captain who gets them organized, so he has some value. I wonder if he's worth keeping after this year though -- you can't play him on defense and they also have Rudy Ford. Their safeties room is a mess.
He got absolutely bowled over in an avalanche of Viking rushers, so I'd put that on the line more than him, but that blocked punt was ugly all around. At least he had the presence of mind to track the punt down, something last year's team lacked against SF.
The block is on Coco. He got beat immediately. #6 had to try to block two guys.
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson
I’m a big fan of the four special teams additions. Ford, Nixon, leavitt and the punter/holder. Best special teams we’ve had in a long time. The coach helps too.

That's like saying your dog is doing better because he vomited outside in your lawn instead of in the family room.
The one plus is the kick return seems to be fixed and the only reason that happen is because the player you were playing all season at the postion fumbled so many times they had to cut him.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.
