Official Packers/Lions Game Thread

Here's my take on this game...

The Lions feel their offense has been stifled by some of the league's top defenses - and they're right (STL, CHI). Today, they'll try and stretch the field by going up top against a defense that has given up lots of big plays.

Despite this hole in the Packer's defense, the Lions are unproven and won't do as well as their gameplan may suggest.

The Packer's offense does another 180 and has a decent running game w/ Morency spelling AG for a combined 25 carries for 100 yards and a TD.

Favre gets #400 but no one outside the GB faithful knows/cares.

Packers lose a close game and struggle w/ finding the few plays that make the difference b/w a road, division win and another 'close loss'.

In a effort to get that damn W, official game threads can only be started by someone who hasnt made one yet. If the Pack wins week that poster will make the following week(s) thread. A loss means that poster cant make another official game thread for the rest of this season.

In other words...

If the Packes lose, blame it on BallHawk!!!!

With this in mind, I would like to put in my reservation to make the game thread for either the 10/9 game vs Rams OR the 12/10 gave vs SF.

First come, first serve on the game threads after each game is over. Best save that "ladies first" garbage for when you are hanging with some gentlemen.

Hey guys,

I have to go to work at 2:00 (yuck)

I record it anyway...I just like to watch ever play. It's just as good when I watch it after I guess although, I don't really have a life with full time school and work. God...Poor me OK pity party's over. Hard work pays off and I wouldnt' do it if I didn't want the outcome bad enough.

I know we're probably all on the same page here but aren't we all looking for big cutback lanes and no big plays given up on D.

If those two things get fixed we're almost an average team. They need to get our gusy prepared because we're not getting out physicalled too badly, we're just getting out played fundamentally.

New coaching staff gets some lee way, but unlike a new GM, they don't even get a full season to start showing progress. I want to see something today. Even if we lose, I want to see these two things get better damn it.
