That’s sad man. This kind of shit makes me angry at the NFL with their greedy asses. The players union should have some kind of setup for those who helped lay the foundation for the colossus the league has become.

Agree that the players' union, if they are really protecting NFL players, would do something to help the older generations of players. There is no painted-fingernail Caleb Williams without Joe Willie Namath (who did a panyhose commercial), no Patrick Mahomes without Fran Tarkenton, no Peyton Manning without Johnny Unitas, no Aaron Rodgers without Bart Starr, no and no Brett Favre without Bobby Layne.

Put some money into a kitty and divvy it up for the old-timers.
