Surprised that Zayne Anderson was kept over Anthony Johnson Jr. Heavier on the DL/DE numbers over the DB/CB which also surprised me. No trade or pickup of a different kicker unfortunately either. Let the countdown to the 6th and that to happen begin.60% of the time it works every time.

Yeah, goodbye to Anthony Johnson Jr. But I'm telling you, it might just be that Zayne Anderson, in addition to playing safety and special teams, can also kick. Both Bobble and JoeM had him listed in their final roster predictions as on the team, and listed him with the specialists. They may have some inside information we mere mortals are not privy to.
I'm a little surprised that They went so heavy on D-line. I'm surprised both Cox and Mosby made it. I thought either Rochell or King would stick as the last CB, but with all those D-linemen and O-linemen for that matter, there was no room. It also explains why Kesean Nixon got time at both slot and outside corner, and why Bullard got time playing the slot.
It also looks like the careers of both AJ Dillon and Tyler Davis are over, at least for this year, and at least in Green Bay."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

As I've read about it, his salary is guaranteed if he's on the roster for the first game. So they've got a little over a week to beat the bushes and see if anyone out there might be better."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Only surprise to me, a little, is King.
I was hoping Newman was gone. ... This is the best roster overall I can remember since the Reggie White era, barring injuries of course. My only question is really the O-line. Monk looks like a very solid future guard/center, and there's quite a few that can improve a couple other spots this or next year. Interested to see how that group improves this year.

Of course, plenty of those cuts won't be going far with the PS. Welch, Rochell, Johnson, hopefully Dubose, Pearson, hopefully Jones, Tenuta, J. Wilson, Merriweather, McCrary, Pratt, Russell, L. Smith, Hicks among others.
Good riddance to Dillon and Davis.
What ever happened to the RB Howard? What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

I would hope King is high priority to keep on the PS. I think 1 spot is protected if I remember correctly.Originally posted by smuggler View PostHoward was cut a few days ago.
Pleasantly surprised the kept Mosby.
Kinda bummed about King and AJJr.But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

other then the fact the some (obviously) wrongly had him as a first rounder last year, has king showed much of anything?
people are acting like we just cut an actual first rounder, not someone we would be considering a giant bust right now if he had gone in the first a year ago

He showed he wasn’t afraid to put his nose in and tackle anybody. If his coverage was as good as they were talking him up, maybe a year on the PS and we get a quality backup/boarder line starter.Originally posted by red View Postother then the fact the some (obviously) wrongly had him as a first rounder last year, has king showed much of anything?
