Jets defense not as advertised tonight.

        1. Lenoir is a damn good player.
        2. The 49ers are overthinking themselves by letting Purdy throw the ball right now. He's a good player, but WHY would you pass? Every run is working and Purdy isn't having a good game.

How is that not unabated to the QB? SF D player was past the OT.

ARod with his 2nd dime to Lazard this drive for a TD.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

How many of you thought Lazard was gonna drop it?

Yeah, that's definitely PI on Yiadom. Pulled Wilson's arms down before the ball got there. Could have been led better by Rodgers.

That’s all folks for the jest. Was never really a contest. Can’t blame Rodgers too much since his WRs can’t catch.

His eye-rolling is in mid-season form, though!

Weird seeing Rodgers as strictly a pocket passer though. Not sure it will work.

Even when he couldn’t walk last season he still kept up on the rolls. That’s dedication!

                        • From the parts I watched, Rodgers's arm strength is still impressive. But he's becoming absolutely Lynn Dickey-esque in terms of his (lack of) mobility.

The Jest's O-line seemed to do him no favors, either.

My favorite part of it all, though, was at one point, when ABC was going to break, they put - as they often do - a player-reaction shot of one of the players in the game. It was, of course, Rodgers - in FULL EYE-ROLL MODE. It was awesome.

Agree. I'm glad I don't have to watch GB games where they pan to the QB's face after every incomplete pass to see if they can capture an eyeroll or other reaction. That was annoying.
Rodgers' wheels are gone, but what do you expect from a 40 year old being chased by bloodthirsty 25 year olds?

The Jets OL is better this year than last, but it's still not great.

One last comment: Rodgers didn't even pass for 200yards. In fact, he hasn't cracked 300 yards since December 12, 2021 Yuck-quality QBs like Daniel Jones, Russell Wilson, Baker Mayfield, and Derek Carr have done better since.
Speaking of post-Achilles QB's, Kirk Cousins looked scared and shaky. You wonder about these old QBs coming back from that injury. Not For Long.

                              • Is it better to be scared and shaky or aggravated and annoyed? Those seem to be the choices for a team if they have an elderly QB.

Yeah, Rodgers’s stat line was very pedestrian. First game back after missing a season, sure. It’ll be interesting to watch where it goes from here. Give it eight or ten games and see where the Jest offense is and whether they might have buyer’s remorse.
