Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur said quarterback Jordan Love was limited in practice on Friday and will be listed as questionable on the final injury report of Week 3.
The Packers are currently “working through” Love being medically cleared to play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
LaFleur said part of the decision to play will be in Love’s hands.
“He wants to be out there more than anybody,” LaFleur said. “We’ll work through it, we’ll give it up until gametime, and we’ll see.”
Love, who is recovering from a sprained MCL in his left knee, practiced all three days this week. He wore a brace and a sleeve to protect the knee.
The Packers listed Love as questionable on the final injury report last week but downgraded him to doubtful on Saturday. He was inactive Sunday.I can't run no more

The #Packers have game-day elevated QB Sean Clifford and CB Robert Rochell in advance of Sunday's matchup with the Titans. The team did not change QB Jordan Love's game status (questionable) but did add K Brayden Narveson to the injury report (right foot, no game status).I can't run no more

Nards, don’t be wearing out your welcome already.
So do the Packers have two entirely different offensive game plans? One for Love and one for Willis?
Sure doesn’t seem Morgan will be able to, uh, shoulder the load this week.
And I always thought running the ball a lot was supposed to help offensive linemen and tire out the defense, not result in all five linemen being injured. Sheesh. I thought they loved run blocking.
I’m predicting Willie will start again."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Offensive linemen do like run blocking. Up to a point. But none of those guys had ever had that many run blocks before. And it was a hot day. I think they said it was the most runs by the Packers since 1978.Originally posted by Fritz View PostNards, don’t be wearing out your welcome already.

I don't think the game planning is that big of a deal. They probably just go in with more plays than normal and throw some out based on who the QB is. I'm sure there's some crossover between plays that work for Willis and those that work for Love.
Sounds like Morgan's injury is to the same shoulder he hurt in training camp. I think he'll be out a while.I can't run no more

The #Packers plan to start QB Malik Willis against the #Titans, with Jordan Love likely needing one more week of healing from his MCL sprain, per me and @TomPelissero.
Love, who hasn’t been ruled out, was back at practice this week, and could return vs. the #Vikings.I can't run no more

Damnit. I’d rather be hiking with Fritz across the Sahara Desert than watch that boring smash mouth shit again.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostIan Rapoport

Winning is always more fun to watch. How they get there isn’t as important to me.Originally posted by Anti-Polar Bear View PostDamnit. Problem is, winning via smashmouth futbol ain’t sustainable in today’s NFL. Ask the 69ers. Kap was Superman ponding the rock up and down the Pack’s rear end one week. Next week, he’s getting pounded like The Rock at Wrestlemania 29.Originally posted by Fritz View PostWinning is always more fun to watch. How they get there isn’t as important to me.
Gotta have a hotshot 25-Cent back with a prodigious arm, or you ain’t gonna win too much.

50% Love is better than 100% Willis.
The Titans defense won’t make the same mistakes the Colts did.
They will effectively shut down the run hoping to make Willis throw the ball.
We will struggle to score today. In a game like this, turnovers by the Titans will not be enough to tilt the game in our favor.
Seems like this is a throwaway game so Love can return next week much closer to full health.
MLF is in a tough position.
