Why not take one more shot at the end zone?

Only three seconds on the clock. Really not enough time. Would need 7 secs to really run a play.

With 3, a tipped ball could let the clock run out.

If you were talking about going for it on fourth down, I agree. The kind of play they could put the game away early.

Could have called TO earlier and kept 17 seconds on the clock after the sack.

I think with no TOs left MLF didn’t want to take any chance of something happening and losing the 3 points.
