The horrible defense has nothing to do with Love. It was the right move to bring him back if he was near 100%. The defense needs to be able to play like they can stop people at least some of the time.

His feet look off. His throws are off and led to 2 short fields. Are we watching the same game?

Is this team ever ready to play in September? I certainly believe in the idea you can peak too early, which is probably what the Vikings are doing right now, but do we always have to suck in the first 4-6 weeks every year? It’s so predictable that they didn’t give us prime time games until Thanksgiving.

well, if we practiced all week with willis and setting up his gameplan, then change to love, i could see why wee look so unprepared

Exactly Fozzy! I’m not saying get rid of Love just today is not his day.

Well, if we knew the Packers would be behind 14-0 in a flash, then playing Love becomes more problematic. He’s certainly going to be more rusty with the missed playing/practice time. However, he’s getting reps today and will be better next week for it. Just don’t let him get hurt more in a meaningless game.
