      • Probably wasn’t a mistake to play Love in this game. He’ll be a lot better next week.
It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

        • Does anyone honestly believe Willis would have given us a better chance in this game?

Down 28-0, you would have put the ball in Willis’s hands to throw the ball 40-50 times?

No. I probably would have put him in early in 3rd when the D was getting stops. I believe Willis would have used his feet and not thrown it 30 times. There was a lot of room to run but Loves doesn’t have his wheels yet.

It's possible. Love wasn't 100% and Vikings were taking advantage of his lack of mobility.

That being said, he did enough to get 13 points in the first half. It's not his fault Nards was terrible.

                  • Yep. After two series. That and seven step drops ...go full WCO LaFleur

                    • Putting Willis in when down 28-0 would have been giving up. Regardless of anything else, LaFleur isn't gonna send a signal like that to the team.

Consider this: if the had overridden the damn doctor and played Love last week, they probably still woulda been good enough to win that game, and Love woulda been a lot less rusty this game.

Love did an excellent job physically, but he was distinctly unPacker-like mentally with the three interceptions. LaFleur and Clement need to coach him up to not play that way in the future.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Given how gingerly Love moved on many plays, and how he was not driving his weight on his left leg, there was no way he was physically ready to play last week.

                        • I'd strongly disagree with that based on his performance. He may not have been 100%, but he was damn close. He threw the ball damn good, he was mobile enough to avoid the rush most of the time, etc. A lot of QBs don't move that well and still play, some of them not even injured, just less mobile all the time. The only problem was lacking his usual mindset not to throw interceptions.

Whoops! Ugly first half, better in second half. Too little too late. Love rushed back and showed rust. Aaron Jones with 26 touches. He's gonna be sore on the flight to London to play Rodgers.
