  • More Banjo - Packers vs. vikings

Love 4 TD but 3 picks?

Jacobs only 9 carries for 50

    Defense? Totally shit show.

Let’s not forget JoeMailman was at the game. Fucking jinx.

Love looked better as the game went on with his footwork. Maybe this game knocks the rust off of him and he starts playing like a $50 million man.

One big question to be answered:

Who will be our kicker next week?

Better question. Should Packers just go for it from inside the 40 on 4th down.

          Great question.
One thing I noticed - after the last Packer PAT, MLF walked right by Nards and didn’t even acknowledge he existed. On the ensuing onsides kick the freaking punter attempted some sort of drop kick that appeared to me to be made up on the moment.
My guess is ole Guter is combing every possible list and we’ll see 2 or 3 or 4 kickers on Tuesday competing for a gig.

Gute fucked this one up bad. We knew the problem and its worse this season. Epic failure on the GM.

MLF gave Narvison a vote of confidence in the post game presser. We all know how much that means.

the offense was pretty shitty today

love was pushing too hard and making dumb throws, wicks dropped 50 balls, kraft with the fumble, o line penalties, etc

josh jacobs is a top 5 paid running back, is he worth it? he's not that much better then wilson at this point. don't over pay for running backs. they do not win and lose you games

                  question on the drop kick

after the ball bounces off the ground, can you kick it up into the air? or does it have to hit the ground after its kicked

the ball came off the ground enough where he could have gotten his toe under it to flick it up. do like a 15 yard mini punt and you almost have a hail mary type situation

My question is who decides which kicker we keep?
You’ve had Carlson, Narveson, Joseph, and a handful of others.
I doubt Gute makes the decision. I’m assuming MLF and Bisaccia make the final call.

Okay, I am so sad about so many shitty things that happened today in that game, but the biggest takeaway for me is that Narveson was worse than Warm Carlson, and I did not think that possible.

I now wish to publicly withdraw my nickname for Narveson, as it was clearly not the truth about him. I would like to officially change his nickname from "Nards Narveson" to "Turd Narveson."

I did at least get Jeff "Half-Assley" right. What shit defense that was today. Darnold had time enough to order lunch before needing to throw the ball, at least for three quarters or so. A million first- and second-round picks plus an expensive free agent, and they still can't do the job.

Wicks sucked ass. I hope the second half found him finally pulling his head out of his ass. Was he reading all his press clippings?

And huge surprise: Christian Watson hurt. Again.

And Jordan Love looked rusty. I hope that's all that was.

Aaron Jones outperformed Jacobs, I think, though the Minny defense played far better than the Packer defense.

Nice that the team fought back, but still too many stupid fucking mistakes right up to the end. Fumbles and bumblefucks - the story of the game.

Sigh. Okay. It's a long season.

But Guter better come up with a better answer at kicker.

After it travels 10 yards it is a live ball, whether in the air or on the ground. The flip side of the coin is the receiving team can signal a fair catch. If they catch it things get interesting-they can then attempt a “free kick”; basically a holder positioning the ball and the kicker attempting a field goal with no snap, no defensive rush. Same rules as after a safety and a team has to punt to the team making the safety.

Can’t blame Watson for this injury. Love led him into two guys and got his ankle rolled up on.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Hey, he’s Crystal Watson. It was just a matter of time.

Love looked like he locked into a read pretty early today.

On one of the 4th down plays he had Kraft running by himself 20 yards down the field and instead went to Wicks I think. Kraft wouldn’t have scored but he would have gotten at least 35 yards and the 1st down.
