  • Official Packers @ Rams Gameday Thread

Today is when the Packers were going to turn it around and get all cylinders firing on offense. The defense was also set to have a good day with the Rams missing several key components on offense. That was before the Vikings came to town and unraveled the season. Now all the ugliness of the past few games has finally exploded. I spent pretty much the entire summer fighting with people on here about Doubs being the number one receiver. I guess he really felt the same way, but unfortunately has taken it to another level. Yea yours truly has gotta eat shit on that one for now.

Since this game is in California, it is probably my responsibility to take the hit this week. I thought it was going to be a W but if it’s not a kicker missing it’s a receiver dropping or a quarterback misfiring. Still, I got to stick with the good guys so with that said..

    Packers 28 - Rams 26
Game winning FG but I don’t know who kicks it.

    Go Pack Go.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Maybe Turd Narveson pulls a Chester Marcol and chugs into the endzone for a game-winning TD.

Well, it'll be interesting to see how the team bounces back. Certainly the pressure's on the defense, especially the defensive line.

And it'll be interesting to see if Melton and/or Heath steps up to be the third receiver. Normally I'd think Musgrave would get some snaps outside, but now he's hurt, too. And has not been playing that great.

I think it's going to be an ugly, ugly game, and when the Packers win, finally, we'll feel like the teenage boy who finally gets sex - but it's with the acne-scarred overweight thirty-year old spinster, so while the kid is happy he got laid, he's a little embarrassed about it all, too.

This is the "turnaround". A game where we dominate all phases. Adversity brings out character and I believe this is a high character group. Today is also Dontavian Wicks coming out party. 10 grabs for 140 and a TD. The NFL takes notice today if they haven't already.

Not a close game. Pack 34 (sacrificial) Lambs 13

This is a huge game for guys like Bo Melton and Malik Heath. If they ball out today, Doubs may remain in the doghouse for quite awhile.

Pepe LeFleur is 4-0 against McVey so maybe a trip to LA is just what the MD ordered.

No expectstions. I imagine missed opportunities, missed FGs, poor red zone and a slightly improved offense.

Suppose we should win vs a beat up Rams.

                I’ll say 24-20 for the W

Would be nice to see good production from Bo Melton today to remind Doubs that he's not indespensible and he needs to get his nose down and grind.
