2 weeks in a row, Packers played really good for only 1 quarter. But as of this moment, Packers have the last playoff spot.

Road win against a good team after a lousy first half!
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Road win against a 1-4 team. But all road wins are good. Got 2 now. 4 should get you in playoffs.

Is it against NFL rules for a team’s punter and kicker to both have a good game at the same time?

Love didn’t show once sign of pain or discomfort in the knee. Have to thing he’s going to be really close to 100% after this.

No, but the cool teams don't do that.

do we practice at all during the week?

cause we aren't improving at all anywhere and we aren't fixing any of our many problems

my college intermural basketball team was a more prepared and cohesive unit, and we prepared for games by going to the bar before and after games, and nothing else

They are working almost exclusively out of the shotgun though. That might be to avoid overworking the knee.

I dig sophisticated tight ends, like, Jimmy Graham, Tony Gonzalez, Kelce and J-Mike. Kraft is making me look at redneck tight ends, like, Kraft and Kittle, in a different light.

                      Stokes and Nixon struggling bad.

You have to think they find a way to get Ja, CV and CB on the field of all three are healthy.

Additionally, if you’re looking to have your nickel cover a TE, you’d have to give the nod to Evan Williams.

It wouldn’t be a big surprise if neither Nixon nor Stokes plays much when the corners are healthy.

I remember the announcers stating we are still the youngest team in the NFL, and it shows at times.
McVey and staff coached a really good game.
The defense made stops when it had to, but our pass rush is making the secondary look worse than it is.
The offense will continue to grow.

Any win on the road is a good win. Move on and get ready for Arizona.

I didn't watch the game but for about a dozen plays, but I was able to follow it on NFL.com - the play-by-play appearing on your screen, like you're playing that electric vibrating football game we had in the 70's.

However, my not having seen most of the game in no way impedes me from offering my opinions, based on the twelve plays I watched, the play-by-play results, and what I've read on the world wide webs.

Evan Williams just seems to be around the ball when he needs to be - he seems to be a playmaker. I wonder if he's going to start taking more and more snaps from Bullard.

Quay Walker is officially "meh." Certainly not going to live up to his first-round status. In fact, I imagine they're going to look to replace him after next year, if not next year. Maybe draft a guy to take his place and let the kid learn for a year next year. I dunno. But Walker is just a guy at this point.

The pass rush is still anemic. I don't know why, but it is. The star pass rusher yesterday was second-stringer Karl Brooks.

The defense didn't seem to play really well, but the Rams only scored thirteen offensive points. And when the Packer offense had a chance to salt the game away - getting the ball back after the defense stopped the Rams with 3:30 or so left in the game - the Packer offense went a very meek three-and-out. Incomplete passes. Unsuccessful runs. It was entirely uninspiring, and had they lost this game I'd have blamed the offense in large part, as they had the ball and a chance to run out the clock by keeping the chains moving. But they could not manage it against what had been an extremely weak Rams' run defense. So boo on them. But the defense actually stopped the Rams at the end of the game, albeit after the Rams moved the ball to the Green Bay thirty-something yard line. Still, the defense stopped the Rams' offense to win the game. That's an improvement on Joe Barely.

No wonder Doubs is pissed. Wicks is just not having a good season. What, two catches on seven targets?

Love not playing great right now. He's going to have to be better.

Kraft reminds me of Ditka or maybe even John Mackey, both of whom played before most in here were born probably. Romo or whoever also compared him to Gronk. It would be nice if we could ever get Musgrave playing to near his potential, too. You know what? Kraft to Musgrave is kinda like Doubs to Watson, but without the attitude or whatever.

Stokes hasn't been that bad. Other than the stumble in the end zone, he did his job. Valentine also did pretty decent. And Nixon for probably being the 4th Corner did ok too.

Yes, Evan Williams is coming through. He needs to because Bullard has been a disappointment.

For better or worse, we're getting the picture of Hafley's style of D - giving up way too much yardage both running and passing but getting turnovers. I don't know if that's gonna do the job against the top teams. The Rams, though, even with a 1-4 record now, were not that bad. They did beat the Niners, and they may have been playing over their heads in the first half.
