  • Official Cardinals @ Packers Gameday Thread

What a difference a week makes. Last week’s win against a lesser team, while shaky at times was hopefully the cure to what ails the offense. Today the Packers appear to be moving towards the team we have expected to see this season.

Last week we saw Wicks have crucial drops that would have put the game away early. Today Doubs comes back from his strange abyss and hopefully makes it right by catching EVERYTHING thrown his way in those big moments.

Last week the defense did well giving up only 12pts against a stationary Stafford and his skeleton crew offense. This week a very mobile Murray will run his ass off and has a bunch of young WRs almost like the Packers.

Last week Matt “Pepe” LaFleur was staring across the field at his coaching BFF McVey who he is 5-0 against now. This week he meets the 2nd year AZ coach Gannon for the first time.

Last week I was worried the team was distracted and maybe not in the right state of mind. This week that’s not the case at all and with 1/3 of the season gone, the road to the postseason begins….

But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Wonder what kind of fan reception Doubs will get. My advice: Catch everything thrown your direction, even if the pass isn't perfect. Don't give the crowd a reason to turn on you.

Too bad for Wyatt. He had a very good start to the season. Hopefully the injury doesn't last much longer.

They also activated FB Andrew Beck from the practice squad. With Musgrave now on IR and Kraft nursing injuries for a couple weeks, Beck could play some today.

Packers base defense in warmups has Jaire Alexander and Keisean Nixon at outside CB and Xavier McKinney and Evan Williams at safety. That probably means Javon Bullard at the nickel.

Tough run by Jacobs. Nothing there and got 2.

Love should have put some air under that pass.
