  • Official Texans @ Packers Gameday Thread

We have a big matchup this week, but not because of any rivalry or storied history between the two teams. Nope this game is about the present status. Both are the up-and-coming young team that made a splash in the playoffs last season blowing out the opponent. Both then lost to a SB favorite so the job was left unfinished. New season and the records are strong at 5-1 vs 4-2. Both QBs are playing fast and throwing with confidence to a boatload of young WRs. Add in Jacobs and Mixon pounding the ball and this is a fireworks show waiting to happen!

But… bad news for the Texans. Their defense seems to be banged up especially in the secondary. Great news for the Packers offense who is just getting charged up. While billed as a big shootout have to think the Packers are going to take advantage of so many injuries on Texans defense. It will be entertaining for a while, but likely never in question. The Packers go hard today and maybe the D impresses with some INTs when Stroud has to play catchup.

    Packers 33 - Texans 24

            Go Pack Go!
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.
