Gute picked the correct week to move on from a rookie who was out of his league at this point.
It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

Out of his league…. Out of the league……
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

We might have a competent FG kicker. That's what I got out of the game.

Whelan w/ some big punts. Jacobs w/ a receiving TD. Evan Williams with a big game.

Lions and Vikings are both really good. Bears don’t suck and we’re a playoff quality team w/ a lot of upside.

The name: McGrindus. Earned his keep today, especially banging the second one through after the freeze time out had been called just before he nailed the first one.

Love's play is a little concerning. I appreciate the let-it-all-hang-out approach to an extent, but the dude is throwing interceptions by the bunch. He needs a come-to-Jesus sit down with The Flower.

                          J. Reed just had a bad day. He's been great, so maybe that's expected.

Packer defense was mostly good - came up clutch on that last Texans' drive, holding them to a FG AND giving GB enough time (with a timeout, to boot) to get the ball down the field.

Doubs was really good. He's catching the tough ones now, in a way he did not his first two years. It's okay - you can smile, dude.

Jaire Alexander - seemed like a punk today.

                          Any word on Walker's injury?

Edgerrin Cooper makes his presence felt, doesn't he? He's fast and relentless. I like that guy.

Carlson just hit a 50 yarder for the 49ers.

This post could’ve gone here or then still pursuing the dream thread

I watched the game in a bar which I hate cuz I miss too much, but instant takeaways for me:

Wilson needs to play more. Like EvanW he earned it.

McAnus proved to be the right call and I am going with McAnus cuz its funny.

Love needs to stop throwing picks. Thats it until I rewatch it alone.
