When was the last time the whole division was in playoff spots? Guessing some time in the 90s.

I don't think it's ever happened. It's only been possible since 2021 when they went to 7 playoff spots for each conference.

Yeah I was forgetting that important part. When was the div last taking up all the spots then?

I do know that our last Owl came from a WC and beating a division rival in the NFCC game to go on and win it all. Just saying....symmetry or some shit.

Playoffs? Are you fucking kidding me, playoffs?

Lovemaker is throwing more picks than Karl Malone running the pick and roll, and we’re talking bout playoffs?

Getting close to the time of year when he stopped throwing them last year.

Love is probably still 4 or 5 games away from his 1,000th NFL career passing attempt. He is just getting started in developing his play situation awareness and building a play results memory bank of success and failures.

If you throttle down his aggressiveness too much, you won't get many of the completions and touchdowns he has already thrown this year, including several from the last game, including probably the last drive.

Favre always talked about giving his receivers opportunities to make plays. Part of the "making plays" is preventing interceptions. The GB receivers are also young and inexperienced. They, too, need to learn their roles on the receiving end of the aggressive throws, and it isn't just catching the ball.

There have been more interceptions than I would like, but so far the good has outweighed the bad, and the Packers are winning. I'm not too worried about the interceptions.

Mostly agree, and the Texans game was big because Love, to date, had thrown game ending picks by forcing it too early when trailing. He will improve. A good run game is a necessity. I don't think he will ever be as good as Rodgers was, but you can win an Owl with him for sure.

                      I think it's worth discussing.

He also happens to lead the league in touchdowns per game.

The league leaders lowest in INTs per attempt are Jacoby Brissett and Aaron Rodgers. I'll take Loves overall play over either of them this year without hesitation.

Patler, that's really close to my take. The one thing you don't mention is the effect being aggressive down the field has on the opposing defense in terms of play calling, packages used, and defending the whole field.

I believe the run game benefits from him being aggressive, for example.
