It's a young team, and historically speaking FL trips don't often go well for GB. Also, they might be looking past JAX to the DET game (and the bye) in the next two weeks.
If GB doesn't overlook this team and just takes care of business, they should win this game comfortably. JAX has a lot of issues and GB is the more talented team.

The injury reports might have a few things to say about this game as well, but there are reasons to expect GB to sweep the AFCS.
Run, you just cited one of my favorite betting trends and now I'm sad. Play an opposite conference game on the road the week before a clutch division showdown. Now I'm expecting a heart crushing loss. Thaks a lot captain buzz kill.

Maybe, but I thought it meant coming into a game not prepared enough and getting beat or close. That happened last week. Consequently, I sorta doubt LaFleur lets it happen again.

The Packers are due for a strong offensive game. Hopefully there are no WR running plays until the 4th quarter.

Fox Single - Midwest, except for LP of Michigan and plains states will get Packers at Jacksonville. Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma with the call.

2 weeks left until the trade deadline. I wonder if Gute is having any conversations with other teams?

Words cannot express this enough but I am SO glad that we've avoided the hollow, unenthusiastic, repetitive, biased and always dreaded Buckman™ announcing so far this Packer season.

I'm sure we'll get that shit show of stupidity that passes as sports announcement eventually, but I already consider this season a "win" in the announcer team category.

I'm sure he's got people working the phones. GB has a pretty good, young roster, so I expect he's getting more calls than making them.

                      LOL sorry.
If GB loses this game I will be pissed. This is another game they should win based on the roster talent and health of each team. Upsets happen though. Lawrence is an ok QB, he can get hot but their OL is so-so and their defense has names yet play poorly. If Darnell Savage is playing I wonder if he gets targeted.

They should stop running so many WR jet sweeps - teams are ready for them. If it's 3rd and 1, just feed Jacobs. Dude can make people miss AND push the pile. In fact, I could see this as a game where they feed Josh Jacobs a bunch.

Basic idea is simple - take care of the ball and win in the trenches -- they do those things and they win this game.

Kurt Warner talked about teams running jet sweeps out of shotgun. Said there's very little deception when you do that. Not sure if that's what the Packers were doing, but I suspect at least some of them were.

I've been meaning to ask: did the Packers run a whole lot of the offense out of shotgun against the Texans? It seemed that way to me. If so, why? I don't think it would be because of Love's meniscus - I thought he was healed there pretty well.

I also noticed that since Evan Williams is taking over the other starting safety spot, the team has been moving Bullard to the slot and moving Nixon outside - leaving Carrington Valentine out in the cold. I wonder why. Does the team think that Bullard is a better slot than Nixon, and a better slot than Carrington Valentine is an outside corner?

For all the preseason buzz about Eric Stokes, he's been quite invisible, and not in a good way. What happened to "the speed is back, he's playing fast, hasn't looked this good in years"?

Stokes played ahead of Bullard on a few downs against Arizona.

As a shutdown corner in high school who shut down Darren Charles in a game, I totally hate seeing inside linebackers on the field on obvious passing downs.

I’d like to see J-Alex, Nixon, X, Stokes, Williams, and Valentine all on the field on 3rd and 10.

Apparently Saleh is on the packers sideline during practice.
