Feel like that happened to us in a playoff loss.

Vikes scored 2 flawless TDs then only 2 FGs the rest of the night. They can blame whatever they want but they didnt deserve to win.

Didn't see the game. Bad call at the end, but Vikings were down 8 in last 2 minutes when it happened. Don't know if there were other bad calls.

The Vikings had to go the length of the field and get a 2 pt conversion to tie…but it was a horrific no call considering how obvious it was.

They had something like 3-5 defensive penalties that led to 1st downs. Seems like the brass wanted one team to have an advantage.

But first 2 drives - 14 points. All remaining drives - 2 FGs.

The penalty was obviously missed, but the Vikings still would had to go 80 yards for a TD, make the 2 point conversion. Get the ball in OT and score a TD on the first possession or whatever was needed if they even got the ball in OT.

The refs took the opportunity away but it was a heck of a long climb anyways.

Watched the whole game. Officiating was even handed.
No matter what the time/down reality, Vikes should have been first down at whatever yard line.
Crazier things have happened.

As for the non call, wtf were the Ref’s looking at, missing?

Wouldn’t it be a 15 yard penalty from the previous spot? Which would have been the 5. So Vikings ball 1 & 10 at the 20.

It was a facemask? Would have been tacked on to the end of the play. I didn't see the end or the play, but that is the rule for a live ball infraction like that against the D. Illegal blocks are spot of the foul. In the completely inconsistent manner we are used to from the NFL holding is from previous LoS.

The tackle was for a loss and a safety. So I think they go back to the previous spot. If it had happened downfield it would have been tacked on from the end of the play.

I can see where they didn't call it. The defender didn't get much of the facemask, so the official(s) might not have been in a position to actually see the defenders hand on the facemask. They can't call a penalty just because the movement of the Darnold's head would indicate the facemask was likely pulled. It could have been difficult to tell if the facemask or the shoulder pad was pulled. The real question is whether it should be reviewable.
