It could have been difficult to tell if the facemask or the shoulder pad was pulled. The real question is whether it should be reviewable.
This. In addition to not being in the right position, there are multiple different things the referees could be focused on at any given second.

No human could ever meet the fan's unrealistic expectations of the referees. This type of miss has happened thousands of times and is nothing in the grand scheme of things.

The Vikings should look in the mirror for why they lost the game. This one missed call would be way, way down on that list of reasons, IMO.

I think it was a bad miss by the ref - should have been called. Either way, it would have still been a tall order for MN to drive down the field AND get the 2pt conversion. Agree that wasn't the only (or main) reason they lost.
The Rams D was doing things to make Darnold hold the ball and make his reads, he wasn't consistently sharp doing it.

I think MIN are for real but I also wonder if teams are going to figure them out by December.

I've started to see some teams taking a page from Flores - even Hafley did this vs. HOU - where they crowd the line and have LBs double mug the A gap and back off at the snap or send one and drop Preston into a shallow zone. Like the old fire zones -- what's old is new again. Anyway, I wonder if - as teams incorporate some of that as a sim pressure package - offenses will adapt and burn that. There are plays that beat fire zones for example.

Belatedly saw that Christian Darrisaw is out for the season with an ACL/MCL injury. That's a tough loss for MIN.
Also- Bears cut 2022 R3 pick Velus Jones, Jr.

The old cat and mouse game.

Kind of like WR runs. One a game might catch the other team off guard. Five a game fools no one.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

A Aron about to lose to the Pats. Good thing they traded for Adams. That was clearly the missing piece.

Jets are done. The toughest part of their schedule is coming up.
              Rodgers is irrelevant now.

Next offseason, Gute should trade Willis to the Jets for a 2nd round pick that could become a 1st.

As red or beastly said elsewhere, Loins peaking now. Good. Then the Pack can fuck up their season later.

Jets wouldn't make a smart move like that.

What if Willis was to take the Packers to the SB?

Jets are the #15 seed in the AFC playoff standings.
