It doesn’t matter. We don’t run the same package with Love in the game. That is the issue. Love should be commanding a ball control offense with lots of TEs and RBs, not continually in the shotgun in 3 and 4 WR sets.

This team is built for the offense Willis gets put in charge of because he’s not a great pocket passer. Love could also run that offense, but MLF chooses not to.

Love has not shown he is capable of executing the offense for 4 qtrs.

I’m guessing the Browns would have trouble getting under the cap…but the thought is not invalid.

They wouldn't inherit the signing bonus money, so it would be less than the Packers current cap hit.
