  • Official Lions @ Packers Gameday Thread

Looks this is the week the Packers win streak ends. At least that’s what the word is. Love is banged up and appears to be starting but some think he needs to play to win. Willis is ready but he ain’t good enough according to many. Jaire is out and the defense wasn’t good enough according to others. All kinds of shit and none of it good. Except for our favorite frequent flyer, McManus. Thanks to him you can safely go piss during a XP.

Somehow this has been the worst 6-2 start I can remember. Yet here we are halfway and potentially a game out of the top spot in NFC! It’s crazy in a way. Have they been that bad meeting expectations or that good to have not even played the best yet and still be in this position? Who knows but I do believe the best is yet to come.

One of my favorite quotes of the Hunger Games show is when before the final battle one of the elite rich dudes says “Good rain knows when to fall”. That might be the case today as it appears it’s going to rain. We have to believe that favors the Packers heavily with Jacobs pounding the hell out of the ball. If Willis is what we are talkin about it’s definitely gonna cause trouble for Detroit who gives up a 100yd rush average on the season.

Rain also falls in an angry way and this week it will be a blessing in the Packers favor. I have been pissed and disappointed with all of the doubting and believing the lions are somehow better. They haven’t done shit or beat anybody special other than a vikings team that’s probably starting their yearly collapse. Major fun fact: This is the lions first outdoor game of the season!

Time for the Packers to have a season defining win and that’s what today provides.

But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

I could’ve gone to the game instead I’m on a work trip.

Luckily looks like game is nation wide so finding a bar or whatever to watch should be easy.

I’ll have a good feeling about this one. I expect a lot of lead changes and McManus winning his 3rd straight.

Hope we can stay mostly injury free going into the bye.

I'll never say we can't win, but I assess the Lions roster and they are better. We have home field. This team finds ways to win. Hopefully Saleh and halfwit have been in a dark room together figuring out ways to disrupt that offense.

Packers 24, Lions 23. McAnus kicks his 3rd straight game winner as time expires and we all forget that 3 weeks ago our kicking was a hot steaming mess.

This game might come down to who can hold onto the ball and who can stay on their feet. This is the Lions first game this year in an open air stadium.

Read this and thought you were bringing back the Game Day Whammy Mad, and I approved! (who did their threads that way?)

Nope, just a hook to keep us engaged. Well done

That was Bretsky and he will be needed later this season. Hopefully he is still alive out there with his fake knees.

But thank you for reading it man. Glad someone did.

I don’t know what to think about this game.
My head tells me that with injuries and such, that the Lions will just be too much.
My heart tells me the Packers will play a gritty game and pull this game out at the end.

Nixon gets pushed out of bounds and gets a PF? Terrible call. 30 yards.

No Myers, and better blocking. He can stay out permanently IMO.
