Evan Williams and Jaire Alexander are Questionable for the Bears game. Colby Wooden is Doubtful. Jordan Morgan and MarShawn Lloyd are Out.I can't run no more

While the killers in high places
Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
A thundercloud

Slow down, people. Every year there's that one game everyone thinks is a certain win, a blowout, and the Packers find a way to lose. Or to squeak out a fugly win. This would make sense to be that game. Sure, they've lost games this year, but all were contending teams. This is the one that's supposed to be a cakewalk, and as I said, every year, there's that one game.Originally posted by MadtownPacker View PostYou’re right I’m being a big pussy. Maybe they lose this one, and that's what forces them to look in the mirror and get it together.
I hope not, but it wouldn't shock me."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

The game against Detroit should have forced them to look in the mirror and see how they've been fucking up too often. And it should have left them with a burning acid feeling in the pit of their stomachs. Fuck looking past anybody. This game is genuinely important for their playoff hopes. They should come out breathing fire, ready to slam the opponent to the ground and walk all over them like a cheap bear-skin rug. Anything less is a complete failure of the organization.2025 Ratpickers champion.

Agreed - there's so much shit I hear going on in Chicago, we as Packer fans sit back and think, yep - here they go again, implode time. Then Chicago comes out tomorrow and punches the Pack right in the mouth. Don't want it to happen, but that's our luck sometimes.Originally posted by Fritz View PostSlow down, people. Sure, but I'm not sure the Bears can muster 13. Maybe a garbage time TD as we burn the last 4 minutes off the clock letting them have the middle of the field.Originally posted by MadtownPacker View PostYou’re right I’m being a big pussy. I don't advocate or watch snuff porn. I do advocate snuffing out the Bears playoff hopes though.Originally posted by George Cumby View PostYou can go to Hell telling jokes like that.

Possible, but that game is more likely to be the Dolphins or saints games. The games around those 2 make a lack of focus more likely.Originally posted by Fritz View PostSlow down, people. That's a shit first year for him, and for Lloyd. And Olidapo hasn't done a thing, I don't think, nor has the third-rounder Hopper.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostJordan Morgan to IR.
Cooper's been good, not sure about Bullard - he doesn't seem all that great. Williams has been a revelation.
Maybe Monk will prove to be the better offensive lineman this year."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Got to agree. Spent the whole week listening to the local media doing an all-out dump on the Bears and I have been over fed with heaping servings of schadenfreude.Originally posted by Fritz View PostSlow down, people. Yes, the Bears are in disarray to say the least. They are now the proverbial wounded animal in a corner. With the toughest remaining schedule in the NFL this is do or die for them. The players pissed and moaned about the coaching, particularly the offense, and the OC got canned. The whole team knows the HC is for all intents and purposes a dead man walking. The players know all eyes that matter will be on them tomorrow and just as important, next season. They have way more than just the game to lose, and everything to gain. The roster is actually respectable with the glaring exception of the offensive line. The defense has been above average with the exception of the past couple of games. Thier defense remains effective in the Red Zone where coincidentally the Packers have been anemic at best.
Let's hope that the Pack understands everything and puts it into perspective. Especially the fact the Packers have won 10 straight against them and LaFleur has never lost to the Bears. Do your job and don't get too wound up and make stupid mistakes. Also, it would be very helpful if Kenny Clark and Rashan Gary could find their ways off of the milk carton and onto the field in a meaningful way.
As the sayings go, Any Given Sunday, Thats Why the Game Is Played, That Damn Ball Bounces Funny, etc.
I am very cautiously optimistic.

Sigh.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostJordan Morgan to IR.
The scars of the German Shephard’s incompetence remind me of the Polar Bear. They keep me thinkin’ that we coulda won it all. It’s “Sherrod in the deep” all over again.
Wasting a 1st on an injure-prone Yokozuna who couldn’t beat out some flag-prone 7th rounder and a damn center playing RT is sheer incompetence.
Coulda grabbed X-Worth, Kool-Aid, Maxi “The Taxi” Melton or the Great White Hope, Cooper Dejean.
