Purdy didn't practice today. Has a shoulder and there is speculation he won't play this week.

My niners fan primo said he is out. He got tackled with his arm held back and landed square on his shoulder.

Actually I read he did practice today but left early.

"He was still limited today," Shanahan said on KNBR 680. "He didn't do as much yesterday but did a little bit more today. He went out there and did a little bit, then went back in about halfway through and rested up. Hopefully [his shoulder] will be feeling great on Sunday."

Looking like no Jaire or Cooper on Sunday.
I’m not feeling very good about the defense when you combine that with a lack of pass rush.

Can the offense finally kick it into high gear and win this game?

They'll have to. Over/under is 47.5. Bet the over.

Jaire Alexander and Edgerrin Cooper both DNPs for Friday’s practice. Wouldn’t expect either to play vs 49ers.

Brock Purdy out Sunday. Brandon Allen to start. Bosa out also Packers now favored by 5.5.

It's Shanahan, dude has manufactured points with Jimmy G or Nick Mullens at QB. Bosa being ruled out is an equally big deal IMO.
On the flip side, Jaire and Cooper being out will hurt.

I was ambivalent about this game, but now I expect GB to squeak out a win. Niners will be desperate/dangerous team (they always are) but their injuries will be a lot to overcome on the road.

What’s the read on the backup? Heard he’s mobile… didn’t play all that well in scheme w/ Caleb.

Wtf do we keep quay out there. And we need a spy…

Brandon Allen has started games before...but not since 2021. Allen is 2-7 as a starter for Denver and Cincinnati. Has completed 56.7% of his passes for 1611 yards with 10 TD's and 6 INT's. Best performance was December 27, 2020 when he led the Bengals to a 37-31 win over Houston. Completed 29 of 37 passes for 371 yards with 2 TD's and 0 INT's. Houston had one the NFL's worst defenses that year. The following week against the Ravens he completed 6 pf 21 passes for 48 yards with 2 INT's in a 38-8 loss.

Well, if the Packers D plays true to form, they'll make this clown look like Dan Fucking Fouts.

We hope that has changed with Hafley as DC.

No QB has really gone off this year.

Last week we made Williams look like a competent starter. But he didn’t go for 350 and 3 TDs.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

                                I hope you're right, Dan.

My perception of the D, actually the whole team, is one of inconsistency. Something just feels kind of off.
