Official Packers vs Dolphins Game Day Thread

Happy Thanksgiving!

Tonight, the Packers go for 3 in a row. It should be an exciting game as Miami is playing much better with Tua under center.

It is going to be a cold game at Lambeau tonight. The last time the Dolphins played the Packers in Lambeau, it was another cold night game.

I expect the Packers to come out focused and play really well. Being 2 games behind the Lions we cannot stumble if we want to catch them and win the division.

Expect a high scoring game again from the Packers as we pound the ball down the Dolphins’ throat and run away in the 4th quarter.

This feels like a trap game that shouldn’t feel like one… ya know? Perhaps it’s the lack of deep history or connection with the Dolphins, or a holiday or smashed between Niners/Lions week?

But we could easily watch the lions lose today and play for a division tie next week. That’s got to be motivation enough.

I expect a similar offensive gameplan as last week - or hope so. Jacobs is the workhorse and can help us setup the play action pass. The Dolphins secondary has injuries and I’m expecting Kraft to get more in the mix. Heath/Wicks will need to fill in the Doubs gap.

Defense needs to pin the ears back and play against a very fast team.

I think it’ll be a back and forth affair and Packers find a way to win.

These are the types of games I used to like to attend live. Bitter cold and in the dark. Only die hard fans are there live. Plastic flask of bourbon (would be Evan Williams if this year) in the jacket to keep me warm.

Every betting metric favors the Packers. Every emotional metric favors the Packers. Why am I nervous? Because I'm a fan and every fan but one team ends the season with a letdown.

Packers win, and I hope Wilson gets 20 touches. We need to have Jacobs be ready for the playoffs and his workload has been heavy. I also figure if Wilson gets 20 touches it means we are well ahead by halftime.
