It was a very solid game all around. Love was as efficient as he’s been all year. The ground game continued to churn out a lot of yardage, and it wasn’t just Jacobs this time. Kraft finally became a weapon when the Dolphins focused on the run game. The defense went all out to stop the speedy receivers and let Miami eat up short stuff in the middle with TEs and RBs, tightening up in the red zone.
The game was really never in doubt after the second TD. There were several dumb penalties again, and that stuff needs to get cleaned up. No excuse for lining up in the neutral zone or having a false start on offense in a quiet stadium. However, stayed clean in the turnover column and showed strong run/pass balance for most of the game. The Packers are playing their best football of the year heading to Detroit. Buckle up.

Isiah McDuffie and Christian Watson have oddly similar face shapes and coloring.
Why does the D look like ass? They just look soft to me and like they'll get carved up vs a good team. Look worse than EOY last year to me.
I posted that it was tough to watch the defensive strategy against the Dolphins, but it was the right strategy. You can’t play aggressively against the Dolphins offense. Waddle and Hill are incredibly dangerous receivers who can go to the house on any play. The Packers used a lot of double teams on those guys and played soft coverage elsewhere. They were PURPOSELY soft, especially after jumping out to a big lead. There was no reason to allow Miami to get back into the game by making big plays. They forced them to take 8 or 9 plays to get downfield and tightened up in the red zone.
Miami is a good team. Defensively, they were banged up but offensively they are one of the top ten teams in the NFL when Tua is healthy. We held them to 17 points. They scored at least 23 in their prior 5 games, including against the vaunted Bills. Some of you are delusional in how good this league is and how difficult it is to stop todays top offenses.

This.
As painful as it was to watch at times, the D did their job.
Pretty much any team up against those receivers without their best cornerback up 24-3 at halftime would have played prevent defense.

This was the first game this year where the Pack looked like they did at the end of last season. But Wicks still had an egregious drop and needs to get it together quick. I think they’re going to need him.
A week to get ready for Detroit, then a mini-bye before the home stretch.
Van Less needs to make some noise, as does one of Engabre, Cox, and Mosby.
And can the defensive coaches just give Valentine the job already? Stokes is at best a stop-gap. At best.

First, we kept pounding the ball with the run. Didn’t work as well as last week but we kept at it.
Second, we used a more intermediate passing game. We got Kraft involved in the middle. Love seems better at those throws than throwing it deep into double coverage.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

LVN had a sack and 2 TFL. Had a strip sack the week before. Seems to be making a bit of a late rush like he did last year.
