Eh. We’ve got our pick of what we need. Which means we’ll pick a projected 4th round center.

Well those mocks were right.Originally posted by pittstang5 View PostSo many Mock drafts I've seen lately have the Pack taking Mathew Golden in the 1st round. I don't see it whatsoever, even if he is there. Maybe I'm so used to Packers not taking a WR in round 1. Honestly, i think there's better value in 2nd & 3rd rounds for a WR. I'll be a little disappointed if thats the pick.

This guy seems like a nut job. Watson is injured, the Packers didn't cut him or trade him. Golden isn't the ideal replacement for Watson anyways. There is enough room in the Packers receiving room for both of them. To me it is a signal to guys like Romeo Doubs, Wicks, and other to start catching balls and getting first downs, or get the fuck out of town. Now if the Packers land another receiver in this draft especially on day 2, that is a warning to just about every receiver in Green and Gold that the Packers are looking to rebuild the receiver room, and the only guy that is safe is Jaylen Reed.Originally posted by MadtownPacker View PostIt is what it is," he says. Those were my first thoughts too. Watson is likely to miss a good chunk of the 2025 season and may be limited even when he returns. Going forward, no reason Golden and Watson can't be on the field together.Originally posted by Deputy Nutz View PostThis guy seems like a nut job. Doubs and Wicks are the ones more challenged by this, long term. Watson blocks, accepts his role without complaint, doesn't require babying or attention and has shown he can impact games significantly. I'm not sure GB/LaFleur has figured out how to fully integrate him into the offense. Doubs seems moody, dissatisfied and requiring coddling. Wicks needs to step up or he will be one of the many talented athletes who never figure out how to be a successful pro.

Acting like the Lavar Ball of the NFL. Agreed, Watson is on the shelf for a while but Doubs and Wicks are on the chopping block. Reed has a repeat of last season and the day 2 or 3 WR might replace his ass.Originally posted by Deputy Nutz View PostThis guy seems like a nut job. He had knee surgery two seasons ago and there was an issue that several teams flagged based on a long term outlook. I mentioned this in a previous thread that it probably has something to do with the meniscus. My guess is they removed a significant portion of it and that could lead to knee problems down the road for a young athlete.

Yeah that makes sense. Also he had turf toe and hamstring issues, so maybe they don't think he'll hold up in the NFL. Injured players tend to often get reinjured (see: Jaire).Originally posted by Deputy Nutz View PostHe had knee surgery two seasons ago and there was an issue that several teams flagged based on a long term outlook. I bet someone takes him R2, too talented. Plus, guys like Jaylon Smith and Myles Jack had ok careers after getting drafted with bad knees.
