This team has not played well-enough to be coddled. They are inconsistent and seem to lack self-motivation. The starters have not earned a day off. Not saying they need to play the whole game, but they need to report for work. If they take care of business, they can leave work early. If not, they need to complete their shift even if it takes to the final whistle.

The fear of injury is consuming this league. It's a physical job, people get injured. If it happens, it happens. Live with it.

It has worked plenty during bye weeks.

I’m thinking resting before playoffs…. Smh

Not one player has ever been hurt by resting…. Smh

Our playoff defeats in recent years had little to do with rust. They all had to do with shitty defenses that would’ve let us down no matter what.

Tell that to the Devin Williams.

We have a playoff seed to play for. It’s not really a debate imo outside of resting injured players. Presuming the Cowboys will lose is perhaps the smart bet but that’s a loser mentality and not the way to coach or play the game. Vince would be rolling in his grave at the stupidity of this discussion.

Go beat the bears by halftime and we can debate who to sit for the 2nd half.

Watching Rhyan and Myers inside, I can't believe Jacobs has as many yards as he does. Those two are just brutal to watch.

This team is going no where with those two on the interior.

The real issue is they are inconsistent. They do well on a lot of plays and they absolutely suck on a bunch of plays.

C and RG need to be upgraded. LT I am not sure on. Walker ain’t great but you don’t hear his name a lot for bad plays either.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

I hear the Packers are high on Monk. He could step in at C next year.

Even if they get a good center they will let him walk after a few years.

They do need upgrades at C and RG. I too am unsure of Walker. He gets pushed back an awful lot, but he's not horrible.

They won a fairly tight one last year, though it was clear that Justin Fields was just not going to do any damage downfield. Who knows what this contest will bring? But I would like to see Reed and Wicks have better games so they can regain some mojo for the playoffs.

LaFleur said based on how the mistakes the Packers made last week he thinks there's a good reason to play all his starters Sunday. "There's value to going out there and playing well," LaFleur said.

#Packers coach Matt LaFleur said that CB Jaire Alexander will undergo surgery and will be done for the year. "He was trying to get his knee right and it wasn't getting right. It's a tough deal for everyone. It stinks that we're here, but we're here."

Jaire is going to have to accept a below market deal at this point. He’ll probably be a steal for someone for a year, and then go back to being injured incessantly.
