The Packers underperformed in 2024. Yes, we have talent gaps as well, but I’m not focusing on that. Who is responsible to IMPROVE and DEVELOP the offensive players? That is on Stenavich. With all the young guys, you’d think at least a couple guys would take a step forward. The only guy who really did was Kraft, and even that was muted to some extent.

If you expect Stenavich to magically start improving players now, you are kidding yourself.
How did they underperform? They won more games in 2024 than they did in 2023. They received the same playoff seed. They didn't advance in the Playoffs but that is outcome based versus process based. I understand your are upset the Packers no longer are playing and you struggle to deal with the fact a better team beat them.

you want to talk about Lafluer decision making in game, or the fact that he has struggled against better opponents, and that his players make bone headed decisions on the field, great. I have a lot of questions about whether Lafluer can get this team over the hump and lead the Packers to a Super Bowl.

The fact you refuse to acknowledge that Stenavich is responsible for improving offensive talent is all I need to validate my point.

I’m not discussing talent gap. I’m not discussing game plans or strategy. This is about improving the players on the roster, and why on a young team we did not see any real improvement year over year.

I don't really think a coordinator is. That's the line manager or coaches job. Coordinator is the director, his job is making sure the line coaches are doing their job and that the system in general is running smoothly and executing on their plan.

The OC, especially if they aren’t doing the game plan and strategy, should be heavy in player development. I get that he isn’t the one working with individual players daily, but the buck stops with him on that. If there was no improvement, anywhere, on offense…that is a poor reflection on Stenavich. It isn’t just one bad position coach. The entire system of player development needs to be evaluated.

            Well, there was improvement

Point of order: Does anyone have a quote from any interview suggesting The offensive coaches were happy or unhappy with the backup linemen. It's entirely possible Steny and others said to the GM "we can't win with these guys" and Gute, said 'sorry, that's all we got'

              What improvement?

I don’t care about beating up on sorry AFC South teams or a Miami team that can’t play in cold weather.

When it counted, against top NFC competition, what improvement was there? Who played better than last year on offense besides Kraft?

I'm uncertain about Stenavich, but Ryan Mahaffey, the receivers coach, needs to go. He moved up from offensive line assistant last year, and every wide receiver regressed this year.

Bears requested permission to interview Stenavich for HC position.
