Obviously pure luck on my part as otherwise I’d have gotten the rounds each was drafted in right as well. Overall liked the picks but a bit confused they doubled up on WR within the first three rounds. Guess between taking BPA and not being able to count on Watson until late season and with Doubs concussions and team drops, they felt it could be improved.

Spaulding, the only reliable receiver is Kraft. Doubs has concussions, Wicks can't catch. Reed can't catch and can't win against man coverage, and Watson is a walking injury magnet even when available.

Right but roster wise we're likely to only keep 6 WR's and 3 TE/FB (or at least that has been the starting roster makeup the last two seasons under LeFleur.

Guess that means either Melton or Hardman are gone along with Heath and Watson on PUP until his knee is recovered (if at all this coming season). Going to be a tough call if Watson is healthy at some point and WR needs to be cut.

TE's will be Kraft, Musgrave and likely Sims if they go with three.

A bottom of the roster WR being replaced by a day 1 or 2 draft pick is a big improvement in the roster. And when have receivers stayed healthy all year. By the time Watson is ready, there will be someone to go on IR.

Fair point. Guess I was just thinking they had other roster areas of more pressing need after they selected Golden to help the WR position. Going to be an interesting year if last year's draft starts to show some value (Morgan and Lloyd finally healthy) and the light comes on for Van Ness.
