John Williams surprises us all and Bobble gets a boner as Williams makes the cut over Donovan Jennings.
I don't think Williams is practicing still due to an injury which almost assures he lands on practice squad. (to my disappointment).

Couple of things. I don't think Emanual Wilson makes the team. They go with 3 and use PS rotation. Agree Wooden is deadweight. Hard to tell on about 4 spots at the bottom and gutes always scavenges someone from another team after cuts, but honestly I'd say the final 49 or so are almost locked in which is rare. Still can't rule out trading Doubs if anyone bites. I think if there is minimal interest Gutes might take a 6h for him.

Doubs and Golden have been their 2 best receivers in camp. Wicks is out with an injury. Watson is months away. No way they're trading Doubs.

A hat trick of trades today for the Eagles: Philadelphia now is acquiring a 2027 sixth-round pick from the Green Bay Packers in exchange for offensive tackle Darian Kennard, per sources.

It is the third Eagles trade today, and the second involving an OT. The Eagles also traded for OT Fred Johnson, then traded Kinnard, who already is a three-time Super-Bowl champion at age 25.
Kinnard has played both Guard and Tackle. He started 1 game at Guard for Eagles last year.

Well, that answers the question about who the backtup guard will be, at least on the right side. And maybe the backup right tackle, too. Belton doesn't seem ready for that. Looks like the new guy is basically the #7 offensive lineman.

Probably. Packers had Kinnard in for a visit prior to the 2022 NFL Draft, so he's someone they've always had an eye on. At the very least, they could see him as a viable replacement for Sean Rhyan, should they lose Rhyan in free agency.

Kinnard was actually rated much higher by draft people than where he got drafted. He's played so little since being in the NFL that it's hard to evaluate him. Has he just not been very good, or has he been buried on the depth chart of great teams? Looking at his profile, it's easy to see why the Packers were interested in him. Classic case of college OT better suited for Guard in the NFL.

By Lance Zierlein NFL Analyst Draft Projection Round 3 NFL Comparison Cody Ford

                      Overview

Three-year starter at right tackle with a right guard projection, Kinnard possesses a frame that is very girthy but well proportioned. He's not a bad athlete but faces limitations with lateral and recovery movements. A transition inside should allow for more advantageous positioning as both a drive blocker and in pass protection. Kinnard is an all-day mauler relying heavily upon a nasty demeanor and physical advantages to overwhelm opponents. However, he could see a substantial downturn in success rate at the pro level unless he spends more time and energy improving his hand usage, footwork and overall technique.

                      Strengths

Oak tree frame with proportional thickness throughout.
                      Premium wingspan with enormous hands.
Able to generate instant movement when his technique is right.
Torques and turns defender out of the gap.
Enough range to handle short and long pull-blocking tasks.
Looks for physical, nasty block finishes.
Maintains balance and posture when punching.
Adequate hand strength to cut short his opponent's rush plan.
Frame and strength will make him a challenge to circumvent inside.
                      Ankle flexion improves his anchor.
Offers roster value as emergency right tackle.

                      Weaknesses

Oversetting needs to be monitored and corrected.
Lackadaisical approach in his pass punch.
His mirroring cracks during second half of the rush.
Hugs and engulfs rather than working with inside hand placement.
Struggles to get block centered and keep it there.
                      Sloppy feet diminish contact balance.
Falls off the block due to narrow drive steps.
Needs improved technique for double teams and work-up blocks.
Spends too much time on the ground.

Kinnard doesn't sound great, but should be serviceable as a guard, especially if they go run heavy while he's in there. Everyone else behind the first 6 are a question mark at best. Jennings, Monk, and Telfort could all be cut without any loss of useful talent. I'd keep Smith as the backup center.

He's a pretty sharp writer, that Mosqueda. In fact, the level of detail and expertise offered by the writers seems greatly improved in the past five or so years. These guys do so much research, and have cottoned onto the Packers' preferred patterns of acquiring players so well, that they are becoming eerily good at predicting roster spots and possible players of interest. I tip my cap to those guys. It's a lot of grunt work.

Thats another guy who is bigger than our traditional OL. Definitely a shift in philosophy after getting man handled vs. the Eagles and Lions last year. Interestingly it makes Morgan sort of an odd man out unless he is the island at LT as you almost never see a drive blocker lined up there.

I'm gonna project a year out and say OL could easily look like Morgan, Banks, Rhyan, Kinnard/Belton/Williams, Tom. Possible they stick with Jenkins at C and Rhyan goes FA. They are definitely beefing up though.

My first reaction to this getting Kennard is that we had too damn many O Linemen as it is. But, as you say, losing Jennings, Monk, and/or Telfort would be "without any loss of useful talent". I say get rid of all three of them, keep Belton and Kennard as the 7th and 8th O Linemen, and absolutely don't keep more than 8 total O Linemen.
