  • ANOOTHER awesome Poll to argue about__WHAT IS THE LOVE MACHINE

OK, we were too high on Jordan Love going into last year. Some said they would take him over any QB in the game. Stop the Insanity !

Lets predict something we can measure and state our case.

    In terms of Quarterback Rating,

what will the Jordan Lova..aka...the Love Machine be in the 2025/2026 season among starters who start at least 9 games
    12
    Top 5 in the NFL
    0%
    1
    Between 6-10 in the NFL
    0%
    6
    11-16 in the NFL
    0%
    4
Bottoms Half of QB Ratinks in the NFL
    0%
    1
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

WANTED TO VERIFY, asking you to predict someting that is measurable. QB Ratings....last year Lamar Jackson killed pretty much everybody in this category.

This will be a very telling your for Love; I think we should see what we have this year and excuse time will be hopefully over when he does great

      I said 6-10. It's a tough call because I really think he's about 8-12.

I said 6 - 10. I think he'll be a top ten QB in the NFL this year. Partly because his receivers will catch the ball better this year.

I went 11-16 which I stand firm on. Remember the "redraft the entire league" article where he went 13 with 12 QBs going before him. I feel thats about right, although I maybe have him 10-12 to be honest, not 13-16. I can rattle 7-8 QBs better than him off the top of my head.

I know Tex would go top 5

I kinda like this poll cause rather than throw faulty logic out there and argue this one will be measurable at end of season

I didn"t even notice that "QB Rating" thing. Generally, I don't give a shit about stats or analytics or whatever the fuck you might call that. I just say, there are few or none better around the league than he is. I'd be interested to read WHO those who others would rank higher. Goff? No Way. Caleb Williams? You've got to be kidding. Hurts? Maybe but I very much doubt it. Lamar Jackson? Damn good in his own way, but I wouldn't take him even up for Love. Josh Allen? Maybe the best candidate but still not obviously better than Love. Aaron Rodgers? Those days are past, but I'd still rate him pretty high. Tua? Not even close even if he's healthy. Burrow? Another maybe, but I don't see him as good as some people do. Mahomes? Damn good but maybe already on the downside, though, even at his fairly young age. Justin Herbert? No way. Dak? I like him more than some do, but not near as much as Love. Stafford? Over the hill and IMO never was at the level Love is at. Kyler Murray? Good in his own way - less so than Lamar Jackson - I'd easily take Love over him. Purdy? You absolutely have got to be kidding. Did I forget anybody worth mentioning?

So WHO would ya'all negativists rather have than Love?

Somebody is gonna say "oh but so and so will have a QB higher rating", to which I would reply, that just shows the lack of validity of the ratings.

Coming from a "realist" Tex, without even thinking about who I'd rather have

                  Josh Allen
                  Lamar Jackson
                  Patrick Mahommes
                  Joe Burrow
                  jalen Hurts
                  Justin Herbert

I don't know, how, even you could argue those at this point, based on "performance" as opposed to blind unsupported homerism ))) IF you don't agree with the above 6, I would challenge you to support your view with more than data

I'd also argue, you could throw Love in with the next group of 6-8 quarterbacks.

Tex has our 3rd string guys as top 5.

Since receivers are part of the QB rankings, my guess of 6-10 is unfortunately on the generous side.

How has being top 5 the past few years worked out for Dak, Joe, Lamar, and Josh? Or anyone not named Patrick if we are going there.
