Deslin Alexandre with batted pass on 4th and goal. I don't think he has a chance to make the team. but he makes plays. Probably Probably PS bound.I can't run no more

Simmons or Welch? Brinson or Stackhouse? Heath or Hardman?

I guess the previous game ran late on NFL Network, so the first thing I saw was the replay of that "interception" - clearly a bad call. The ball hit the ground and allowed the DB to seem to catch it/no hands underneath.
This was just a nice interesting watchable game where the first stringers (or close to it) played good, and the scrubs in many cases looked like they deserved roster spots - more than we can keep in a lot of positions. I guess that's a good problem to have. I need to modify my stab at the 53 plus PS - also good sign that the team is pretty well loaded.
Elgersma won me over - a little bit of mobility, the good arm, and a lot of positivity from Packer commentators. Clifford ain't bad, but I now hope they can retain Elgersma on the PS.
They need to keep 4 RBs whether or not Lloyd is ready to go. If he is PUPed or IRed, keep Amar Johnson - either 53 or PS.
I now think they let Hardman go, keeping Heath over him. Hicks, Sheppard, and Johnson all should be on the PS.
The O Line was not very good all game - a lot of traffic jams and most good runs by bouncing off the mass of bodies. I wish they'd keep just 7 O Line on the 53, That's unrealistic, but I really hope they don't keep beyond 8. It may have been against lesser competition, but I thought Lecitus Smith did better at Center than whoever else played there. Monk seems to be crap, and Jennings not much better.
The D Line is loaded at least 8 deep, and at most, 6 will make the 53. Alexandre looked outstanding, and Mosby looked almost as good, and it's doubtful either make the team, Hopefully we can PS both of them.
Edge and LB are also loaded. Enagbara and Cox looked great today. Welch looked more than decent, and Sims didn't look as bad as previously. Maybe they cut corners a bit there to keep extras at other positions.
At DB, Hadden hasn't gotten much love, but I thought he looked like a keeper both last week and this week. Kalen King was ok but no more than that. Ballentine made a great play on that late game punt return, crunching two Seahawks and shaking the ball loose without getting a penalty even though it was a fair catch. They'll be fine there if there is enough pass rush.
The defense, especially early on, was not just the vanilla stuff we saw the first two games. I have high hopes for Hafley to be an outstanding DC.What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Between Hopper and Cox, I see some real potential for a deep linebacker/DE room. I'm not quite sure why Cox has not passed Enagbare on the depth chart. And I don't know which LB position Hopper plays, but if he plays McDuffie's spot, I am hoping they'll swap those two out on base downs when the Packers play three LB's. Hopper seems to be better now at pass coverage, and while we all love McDuff's effort and team-first attitude, he can't cover anybody, I don't think.
Heck, if Hopper plays Walker's spot, maybe you don't re-sign Walker and let him walk. Er."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."
