It's got to be nerve wracking for guys on the bubble. In the old days they called the guy tasked with giving the bad news to players "The Turk." Usually someone from the player personnel department, I think, or maybe an assistant coach.

I'm going with Simmons being cut. Monk to season-ending IR. Marshmallow Lloyd to IR with the possibility to return. They keep six corners.

It will be interesting, those final decisions. I have them keeping both Welch and Simmons for special teams reasons. I have them keeping 5 corners because Bullard also plays slot corner, and they'll have 1 or 2 corners on the PS they can activate if needed.

The Packers have made their trade for offensive lineman Darian Kinnard official. They list him as a tackle-guard combo.

In a corresponding move, the team has released wideout Kawaan Baker.

The #Patriots are waiving OT Demontrey Jacobs, per source. He started 13 games last season and could be a waiver target.

The #Lions are releasing QB Hendon Hooker, sources say. Dan Campbell suggested the other day the 2023 third-round pick could use a change of scenery and he’ll have the chance to do so now.

I'm guessing that many is the Hooker who could use a change of scenery.
I wonder which team is most likely to pick up a Hooker?
I wonder how Hooker is handling going in and out?
All this coming and going must be hard.
Hopefully some team gets a lot of bang out of Hooker.
I can understand reluctance to pick up Dan Campbell's used Hooker.

                    Packers Roster Count: 69 DUDE!

We now read from PackerRats chapter 082625 verse 1101

                    False Prophet.

                    Where is your Messiah now?

The third (or is it 4th? 5th even?) coming of the Messiah (Swinson) has ended.

No telling if he'll be stuck in some sort of a cave covered by a large boulder and we'll see him again in like three days or so.

                    Amen.

19 cuts on offense so far. 8 on defense. Looking like maybe both Jennings and Monk make it, at least initially.

So who’s qb3 - is Clifford done in GB and Elgersma is our PS guy? Or mine the field for people like Hooker?
