The Lions are overrated. This should have been a Packer victory even before Parsons, and more so now.
With a whole week of practice, I think he plays a significant amount in passing situations. Even if he was just a decoy, he'd make a difference. What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

I mentioned several times last year that Wyatt had taken the step up and was playing well. I wanted both of them. I stumbled across this gem this morning and it has made me rethink everything though. If Jerruh is with me I have to consider I might be wrong.Originally posted by George Cumby View PostOk. I just checked PFF and compared Wyatt:

Maybe, just maybe, the Packers know what they are doing.
(Hint: Wyatt scored better than Clark.)
And just for grins, here's Karl Brooks (Just behind Clark):

Elgton Jenkins and Nate Hobbs are only #Packers players not practicing today.
Zayne Anderson (knee), Savion Williams (hamstring) and Barryn Sorrell (knee) returned.I can't run no more

Agree with Bukowski. Unless there's some medical breakthrough we don't know about, Jones fractures require either surgery or lots of time to heal. A shifty WR cannot be useful with this. I believe Julio Jones and Kevin Durant both reported they were never the same until the surgery.Originally posted by texaspackerbacker View PostI don't distinguish podcasters from other kinds of media pukes hahahaha, and I didn't say I agreed with him - just FWIW. He didn't claim he had a report, just that he believed that no orthopedic doctor would let a guy practice with a Jones fracture, and according to the team, I guess, Reed is out there practicing.
That's an excellent diagram above. As I look at it, I believe (and mind you, I'm not even a damn podcaster, much less a damn media puke or a medical doctor - I haven't even slept at Holiday Inn recently) such a fracture could still be padded and protected with some kind of device so that it would be immobile even with the rigors of an NFL game.
That Reed wants to play through it and the very careful team doctors haven't shut it down leads me to believe he likely does not, in fact, have a Jones fracture.

Personal take.
NFL should get rid of preseason and keep inter squad practice/scrimmages.
And the first 4 weeks should be the inter divisional games (NFC N v AFC N).
Then the real ‘season’ starts with conference and divisional play.
Starting week 1 vs the Lions and barely any reps for #1 team doesn’t feel like it’ll be the true test of who is better. Maybe who had a better offseason, who’s got a more in tact squad/coaches from last year, who’s luckier.
Just me?The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.

I have said it for quite awhile, I dnt think
Lafluer is a good HC. I think he is a good
Play designer....but the team is almost never
Ready to play! 2nd half adjustments are non
Existent. If Pack stumbles to no playoffs
Or lose first playoff game....I think
Policy looks elsewhere.

Maybe who had the most continuous offseason? Also who had more physical practices in camp.Originally posted by Fosco33 View PostPersonal take.

Packers have beaten the Lions once in the last six tries.
I'm not exactly confident about this game.
Campbell is a dummy but he's also a leader of men who gets his guys ready to fucking go.
MLF is super smart but seems to choke in the big games.
It's unclear what impact, if any, Parsons will have. Personally, I hope he decapitates Goff, but the Lions tackles are pretty good.

Hella nah. Time to get the mystique back or start firing coaches and management weekly until the top is reached.Originally posted by George Cumby View PostPackers have beaten the Lions once in the last six tries.
