Welcome and I agree. Make or break season for many if no NFCC appearance is made.

MLF says Jenkins "will be limited in some capacity" at padded practice today.

        @BillHuberNFL

Hobbs is not in pads but did a little with the DBs during individual. Jayden Reed is not practicing.

NFL should get rid of preseason and keep inter squad practice/scrimmages.

And the first 4 weeks should be the inter divisional games (NFC N v AFC N).

Then the real ‘season’ starts with conference and divisional play.

Starting week 1 vs the Lions and barely any reps for #1 team doesn’t feel like it’ll be the true test of who is better. Maybe who had a better offseason, who’s got a more in tact squad/coaches from last year, who’s luckier.

            Just me?
Nah, Fosco, I’m totally with you. How many times has it been said that teams don’t have an identity until six games in? Why play crucial division games until you know who you are and what you’ve got?

Fuck Mad and anyone who disagrees with us.

Why? The same reason for most decisions. Television revenue.

We’re not arguing the financial logic - the NFL is a fucking machine - but what would make for the truest season-long test of who the best teams are.

But you are correct. It’s about the dollars, always.

CBS Late - Most of the country, including Alaska and Hawaii will get Lions at Packers. Jim Nantz and Tony Romo with the call. Much of Texas, and southern California will get Houston at LA Rams. Kevin Harlan and Trent Green with the call.

Nate Hobbs and Jayden Reed were both limited today after not practicing yesterday.

Johnny Gray was a good safety. Lots of cool names from the distant past. Chuck Mercein. Don Horn.

Brings a tear to my eye. Those were the days.

My first thought was, "Which Mike McCoy"
Mike P. McCoy was the DT.
Mike C. McCoy was the DB.
Then I remembered, one had passed away at a relatively young age. I looked it up. Mike C passed at 62 in an assisted living facility for dementia.

On another note, I always thought "Wahle" was a great name for an O-lineman.

Wonder id the crowd will remember Ryan Taylor. In 3+ years for the Packers he caught 8 passes for 45 yards.

The first several I Googled who weren't there were dead. Mason Crosby, though, I woulda expected.
