Quick reaction is that I like the Saints +6 and the Patriots -3. Maybe a taste of the Saints/Cards under 42.5

Eagles only giving up 7 at home against Dallas? I know it's week 1, but the Parson's trade is going to have a psychological effect as well as as the loss of pass rush.

Taking dallas to lose badly on both pickems because it’s compukes and because of the trade proving Gute took all that they had good.

Sometimes that rallies a team to show that they were more than one guy.

For an injury, yes, a team can rally. But trading away a star player is a throwing in the towel move. Look at what happened when the Brewers traded Hader at the deadline in 22. They went from first to the division to not making the playoffs. Also, although every year is different, last year when Parsons was on the field, Dallas had the number 1 defense, when he wasn't on the field they had the worst.

Guess we'll see how the Cowpokes actually felt about Parsons. If the other players thought he was a diva and are happy he's gone, they should put up a spirited fight against the Iggles to prove something. If they actually wanted him around, they might be a bit flat coming out of the gate.

But then, even a spirited fight probably means the Eagles win. Any given Sunday...

Doubt they thought he was diva. Every player understands the desire to get as much money as they can during the limited time of their careers. The one thing that will motivate the Cowboys is that the Eagles are the defending champions. That always brings out the best in opponents. But as long as Philly withstand any initial burst of adrenaline from Dallas, talent should win out easily. After the first quarter, I expect it to look like the Packers - Cowboys playoffs game two years ago (with less of a garbage time comeback by Dallas).

But dadgummit Kenny’s gonna plug up the entire interior of the line, and get two sacks.

Lemme check with a scientist: nope, she said there’s no blue moon on Thursday.

Take the under on Cletidus’ sack total for the game.

I reckon, we will miss the Mailman going “CLETIDUS!!!!” every blue moon in the GameDay thread after Clark made a rare play.
