Washington is a very good team - short week - lucky to be at home and relatively healthy on short rest.

Feeling the same since last season when the offense kept shitting the bed. Feels like a championship level D after having a high powered O for so many years. Only to lose high scoring games. This feels like it would be more consistent and sustainable when playoff time comes.

Wonder if Tom is going to go? I would guess not. The guy we signed late replaced him and looked solid.

Probably Kinnard at RT and Morgan at LG.

Packers have the #1 playoff seed in NFC. Commanders are #2.

I didn't realize it until mentioned afterward, but he missed 5 plays. I suspect the last 5.

I'd rather they had confidence in Belton, but put the best man in. We win this and it could be the start of a special season that I can fully enjoy right after the Brewers win the World Series (or baseball Owl as I call it now).

CommanderSkins. Best young QB in the game hands down. Much better than that guy picked in front of him by a hapless franchise. They have talent, but our roster is better top to bottom. If our already battered OL can keep Love clean and open some room for Jacobs we can win this one. Home field on the short week is a pretty big advantage. I'm worried about moving the ball though. I said invest in the OL and now I"m glad we did (although one of the investments is now one of the concerns). You win games in the trenches and our D pushed around Detroits OL. Thats what happens when a team decides giving your #2 WR a monster deal is more important than keeping your dominant OL dominant.

On Monday, the Green Bay Packers announced that the team had released running back Israel Abanikanda from the practice squad and picked up 2022 fourth-round selection Pierre Strong Jr. Abanikanda joined the Packers’ roster in July, when Green Bay picked him off waivers from the San Francisco 49ers. Abanikanda never displaced the four Packers running backs on their active roster or injured reserve — Josh Jacobs, Chris Brooks, MarShawn Lloyd and Emanuel Wilson — but he notably took over kick return duties in the preseason with receiver Savion Williams, Green Bay’s Week 1 starter at the position, out with an injury.

Strong, interestingly enough, played with Packers tight end Tucker Kraft at South Dakota State at the FCS level, and he even threw Kraft a touchdown pass during their rivarly matchup with North Dakota State in 2021. Originally drafted by the New England Patriots with the 127th overall pick in 2022, Strong lasted one year with the team before being traded to the Cleveland Browns ahead of cutdowns in his second season in the league. He spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons on the Browns’ roster before being waived on August 26th of this year with an injury designation. Strong was only released from injured reserve with an injury settlement on September 2nd, less than a week before the Packers picked him up. The injury that Strong appears to have suffered in Cleveland’s final preseason game of 2025 was a concussion.

Look out, Bo Melton. You've got competition for 3rd string QB.
