Burrow, JJ McCarthy and Jayden Daniels all injured week 2. Burrow out 3 months. McCarthy likely out this week. Daniels uncertain for this week.

Edit: McCarthy out 2-4 weeks with high ankle sprain.

That MIN-CIN game will be a battle of backups (Carson Wentz vs. Jake Browning). I give the edge to the Vikings.

Also, I heard Aaron Jones left the game with a hamstring issue. Vikings fans seem to think Jordan Mason has been outplaying him anyway.

As for Mccarthy, I think it's way too early, KOC is a really really good coach though so I wouldn't bet against him. He's not used to the speed of the NFL, that's for sure.

Watching Jones week 1 I sensed a lack of explosiveness. Really looking like Gute let Jones and Jaire go at the right time.

Bengals star QB Joe Burrow is feared to have suffered a Grade 3 turf toe injury, one that would require surgery and put him out at least 3 months, per me and @TomPelissero

Burrow is still evaluating options, but the ones that would keep him on the field are dwindling.
Sounds like Bengals are seeking any interest in trade for Willis now… hmm

They offered a 6th, which means they weren't really interested.

              Agree.
I'd keep Willis vs. a R6. Having a non-sucky backup QB on a cheap contract is worth more than that.

Not that Willis is gangbusters, but Mike Brown is a cheapskate and if CIN weren't just kicking tires they would part with something better lol

Need minimum of a 3rd and honestly I wouldn't take that and jeopardize my season. A 2nd and I'd have to strongly consider it.

Seeing Jordan Love lower his shoulder on a run should pretty much eliminate any thought of trading Willis.

The thing is, even hiring a good coach cannot change a team's fortunes, so even if you think da Bears have a good coach - the jury's still out, obviously - you must remember that they are led by the incomparable Ryan Poles. Turning a franchise around requires a shift in the culture, one that can really only be facilitated by ownership and the GM. So as a Packer fan, I love Ryan Poles.

Ryan Poles is a questionable dude. That whole organization has issues, and Caleb is a weirdo too. The whispers about Caleb are getting louder, especially after that Go Long article. Ben Johnson has a lot of headwinds.

A little surprised by the JJ McCarthy injury; apparently it's for real? My first reaction was it was a fake injury KOC was pushing so he could have McCarthy sit and learn.
I'm not a QB guru, but I've heard some people say his arm is average by NFL standards, needs a clean pocket, and he does rookie things (stares down receivers, stares down pass rush, etc.) Maybe, maybe not... feels too early to know what they have.
I'm skeptical he has as much talent as Caleb, Love or Goff. If anyone can get something out of him, that staff will.

Aaron Jones exceeded health expectations last year. I didn't expect lightning to strike twice, especially since he's now 31. Do not be shocked if he has lingering hamstring/knee issues all year, even after coming back from IR.

^ I've seen enough of JJM to think he's got an NFL arm. NFL head? That's another question. From a small sample size, I'm not convinced his head is right. The Vikings might have rushed from Darnold too soon.

I agree 100% about Jones; I thought for sure he'd miss time last year. His luck might have run out on him.

I'm on the opposite side of the fence on JJ McCarthy. He grew a lot at Michigan, to the point where he'd get rushed, then escape, but still keep his eyes downfield, looking for a play. I think, though, that he has an average arm. It's not awful, but he doesn't, in my opinion, have a rocket for an arm.

McCarthy sat and watched all last year; I imagine the organization thinks the only way he'll learn and grow is to play and face those live bullets. So I am of the opinion that they are not overstating the injury. Unless - and this seems unlikely - they have seen enough of McCarthy in practice and games and then seen enough of Wentz in practice and games to realize that Wentz gives them a better chance to win this year and get to the playoffs. But that seems unlikely. Not too many Carson Wentzes turn into Baker Mayfields.

Watching Caleb Williams last Sunday, and especially watching his (lack of) interaction with Ben Johnson, I get a sense that Williams is not buying in - and I'm not sure that Johnson is really buying into Williams. I know the Lions have a good defense, but the playcalling was very checkdownish, or so it seemed to me.

Just back from out west vacation, but whatever

In all fairness, Caleb Williams is efforting under his third OC , coaching, planning in his 19th professional NFL start. Do the math. As long as the McCaskey’s own the Bears, they will find a way to screw it up.

This poor mooch needs the follow teams to win, to win a 7 teams, $22 ML parlay (+1137):

                                1. Packers (at Dog Farts)
                                2. Bucfuckneers (vs Jesters)
                                3. Racisto Italianos (vs Sheepfuckers)
                                4. Fishmongers (vs Sinners)
                                5. Whale Vaginas (vs Asses of Denver)
                                6. Cowfuckers (at Mobsters of the Midway)
                                7. Chefs (at Gee Men)
