Does that record go back to the old Brown days? Or just since the old team became the Ravens?

The Packers need to guard against overconfidence in this one. Myself, I'm overconfident.

It goes all the way back. They only play the Browns every 4 years or so. https://www.pro-football-reference.c...tm2=cle&yr=all

Yep. This would be an easy one to look past. Besides preparation, MLF needs to remind them that they don't hand out rings for two wins. Cleveland is a team playing at home and desperate for a win. Focus on taking them out.

The good is the Packers pass rush goes against Flacco, one of the least mobile QB's in the NFL.

The bad is Packers may have to face Myles Garrett without Zach Tom.

Garrett is a game wrecker. Moreso than Parsons imo. However we have a much better roster.

The tough part here is letdown. Just beat 2 top NFC teams and now we go on the road to face a "less important" AFC game. A letdown is natural. The team seems focused and I'm thinking we win it, but I wouldn't be laying 9.

                Agreed that Garrett > Parsons.

Also agreed this has trap game written all over it, I almost wouldn't mind if they lost it, bring 'em back down to Earth.

                But Joe Flacco gonna' die.

Feels like neither team is going to have a lot of luck moving the ball, but I trust the Packers to play better overall than the Browns and they should win.

                  CLE's defense >GB's D
                  GB's offense >>> CLE's

that should be the difference. Not sure I'd call this a trap game, feels early in the year and trying to get Banks/Tom back will be a big thing.

Are we sure their D is better? The Lions O dropped 52 and we weren't too far from shutting them down.

The Browns held the Ravens to about 200 yards of offense. Bad offense and special teams doomed them.
They held Derrick Henry to like 30 yards. Garrett > Parsons, they added Mason Graham and have a good secondary. Jim Haslett is their DC and is a psycho. I think they're a pretty good defense. GB's is almost as good.
I think it will be more tough sledding for Josh Jacobs, and if Banks/Tom are out they will have to double Garrett or do a lot of max protect type stuff.

Flacco is pretty old and they have weapons but that team still feels dysfunctional and I think that's where GB has the edge. Of course GB is favored but I wouldn't overlook the Browns.

If the Packers do not win by 14 its a bad day. If the Browns score more than 10, its a bad day.

There's three keys to this game for the Packers.

                          1. Block Garrett
                          2. Block Garrett
                          3. Block Garrett

The team that gave up 41 points has a better defense than us ...... yeah right.

The Browns have the NFL's best run defense allowing just 91 rushing yards on 44 carries. They haven't allowed many passing yards either, just 292. However, they have given up 5 TD passes. Of the 5 touchdowns the Browns allowed to the Ravens, 1 was scored by the Ravens defense on a fumble return. Of the other 4, 3 of the drives started in Browns territory. If the Packers defense can create some short fields, Love might be able to hit a few TD's.
