Genuinely unsure if this team has a problem defending the quick passing game, or if this was the Cincy offense "taking what the D was giving them". I suppose both could be true. Did not like seeing the "leaky 2nd half D" syndrome reappear.

I probably should use the Banjo thread, but I'm gonna post several things here anyway.
APB, I'm with you on the Janis thing, so you've got at least one cool one on your side hahahaha.
Secondly, and far more importantly, a win is a win is a win, BUT, this was a very unsatisfying win. We beat a mediocre team that was more like bad due to injuries. Aside from the O Line play, which bad or inconsistent as it was, was at times better than usual, the main problem that the Packers have going forward is that our pass D got exposed as woefully inadequate. They made a big deal about Nixon having more passes defended than anybody else in the league, well, I'd say that's because other teams don't respect him and throw it his way - with success way too often. And McKinney, so great last year, and he pretty much completely disappears this year. Hobbs has been a disappointment, and Valentine is decent but limited in talent. They also made a big deal about the Packers run D. Well, I'd say that is because in early games teams had a lot of success passing and didn't need to run, that plus the Packers getting off to early leads, leading to more opponent passing. Our pass rush also is becoming like a baseball hitter with warning track power - mostly not quite getting there.
As somebody said, prospects are looking kinda shaky when we play better teams - both our O and our D.What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?
