A win is a win even if they should have stomped them into the ground.

Van Ness hurt a foot. Bullard being checked for concussion. Wicks checked for an ankle.

Morgan might have had his best game. Actually saw him move someone off the line on a down block near the endzone. He's still playing out of position but if he can stick the interior pass blocking would be better. I did not notice Banks but he seems to have survived at LG and not done anything terrible or get injured. So progress I guess.

But the O line was still spotty overall. Tough to have cohesion after all the injury time but they really didn't get their act together until the second half and then after Hendrickson going out set them loose. Tom had trouble with speed a few times.

The D line has next to nothing in the middle for stretches. Only Brooks has any shake and Wyatt was hurt. Wooden trying to become a run stuffer by adding weight but its hit and miss with him. Given the speed duo the Packers have at LB, they need the middle covered better.

More disappointing is the pass rushing. The third guy loose after the Parsons double team and Gary should be having a field day but only Van Ness seems to take advantage. On one of the last drives on the throw that went to the goaline on the near sideline the Refs missed a collar tackle on Parsons during his pass rush. He gets that call the game might have been over.

The defense was not going to let Higgins and Chase beat them deep which is likely wise. But I am not sure you can put Valentine and Hobbs on an island and rush 6 or 7 which they did without a whole lot of success in the late game.

The D design is not going to yield a lot of sacks if QBs like Flacco are willing to throw short.

The pass offense shows signs of life. Love that they went back to Doubs after their corner started showing up. Golden looked great. But both Love and LaFleur have a tendency to do dumb things at bad times. LaFleur, for reasons that defy evidence on the field, loves to feature end arounds and jet sweeps. Savion Williams might eventually be a weapon on these but right now he runs at defenders like he expects to speed by them or blow them up and then doesn't. LaFleur needs to feature something else to get the run game going.

Love has to stop making near panic throws when on the move and about to be tackled. Those guys aren't open, throw the ball away or eat it.

I started the LaFleur era doubtful he could make the Packers a running team given their O line. He did better than I thought he would. But now there are times I wish someone else was designing the pass offense. I don't see them with a lot of scheme plays with players wide open. Love did miss Doubs in the first half in a hole in their short zone.

Love is still progressing and improving. Aside the the bad interception, hes getting more accurate on the move and on second and third reads.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I think Morgan may have done enough to take Rhyan's job today. But the way this season has gone, somebody will get hurt and they will have to move Morgan to fill a gap.

Rhyan and Morgan alternated first 3 series before Morgan took over. Morgan played 82% of snaps, Rhyan 18%. Offensive line definitely got better as the game wore on.

As shown on the play snap count above, the starting line was in for extra points and field goals during the game.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Shouldn't the kicker be in line for the infamous, not recently assigned Fuckdoggle Award? Had anyone heard of him before this week?

That Cincy kicker absolutely crushed that field goal before half. I kinda wish he wasn't iced so he'd get credit for that bomb. That was a hell of a kick.
