    Go.

Parsons for sure as a stud. Had a pressure or sack on half of his pass rushes.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

      Underrated stud:

Rashan Gary - Only 2 tackles, but strip sack turned that game around.

      Fuckdoggle Stud:

            Studs:

Parsons I second that and have to wonder if the record might be 2-3-1 without him.

Big props to Havrisik. He makes bombs kicks and leaves the flight attendants be.

Romeo for just being such a romantic type the way he always makes our hearts melt with his sweet catches!

Dudes: The secondary almost the entire game and almost gave up a TD on the last pass but not knocking it away.

              Stud:

Jordan Love. No brain-farts this game. Good decisions. Timed his runs correctly, a little reckless on that first one. Being MaLF's emotional support animal and convincing him to play for the win by going for it on fourth down.

Wooden gets a nod for a stud in my book also.

For an undersized DL he sure shows up.

If we had lost this game, I was prepared to not label anybody at all a stud and a bunch of players and various coaches as duds. Thankfully we won, so:

Studs: Love, Jacobs, Craft, Doubs, that's about it on O. Of course Havrisik. On D, Parsons - hopefully the first of many games like this for him, Gary but only in a few spots, Wooden mostly, Cooper (but I have the impression he is somehow being misused a little bit), Quay Walker - grudgingly, as he messes up almost as often as he makes a good play. Ditto that for Evan Williams.

Duds: The whole Packer secondary, but in particular McKinney who seems like crap compared to how he played last year. Most of the O Line most of the time. Most of the D Line most of the time. Most of the receivers not named Doubs or Craft most of the time. La Fleur's play calling and game management was deficient - again - IMO. Hafley - this is the first time I've really criticized him. Other teams it seems like, always do better with equal or worse personnel. If you're gonna play zone D (which I like), have somebody play the short zones too. If you're gonna blitz (which I also like), be a little more creative about it so we don't have so many near misses which of course go for big gains against our lameassed secondary. And not to leave out Bisaccia - there were no major blunders this week, but so many penalties on returns hurt, and so many other teams are blocking kicks, etc. this year, but not the Packers.

The officiating was dudish also - seemingly missed interference on Packer receivers and tighter calling it on the Packers D. Ditto that for holding penalties. And that hip take down or whatever, damn Brisset has such a big ass that it was about the only thing Parsons could grab on to.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Good one. Funny - and true. I couldn't believe MLF was going to play it like it was 2005 and kick the FG for the tie.

Duds - the safeties. I don't know what's going on, but Williams has not shown up and Mckinney - you don't hear his name called much at all. But is that because they're solid and opponents are using the short passing game? I don't know enough to know.

Half-Assley gets a dud because it's becoming clear opponents are using the quick passing game to scoot right on down the field, and Half-assley has not adjusted. At this point, can we just keep blaming the fucking personnel? Geez. They've got first and second rounders all over that defense plus Micah Parsons plus Xavier Mckinney.

Hobbs is playing badly on the outside, even I can see that. And Mr. Tough Guy Physical Player (remember training camp?) made a half-assed attempt on Trey McBride (I think it was) on a touchdown.

If the guy is hurt, don't play him, for god's sake. If he's not hurt, move him to the slot or bench him. Super Dud. Maybe Guter gets a "Dud" designation here for signing the guy. Ain't working out at all so far.

Special teams penalties. Another dud. What a shit show, week after week.

Havrisak was, yes, the Barney Fuckdoggle Stud of the Game.

I think there's a connection between how Hobbs is playing, and how the safeties are used. I suspect Hafley doesn't have a lot of confidence in either Hobbs or Valentine, and so they're playing a lot of soft zone. Valentine was basically benched yesterday, but they may need to play him more and alternate Hobbs and Bullard in the slot. Hobbs played mostly slot with the Raiders, but Packers thought he could play a lot outside. So far, they've looked wrong.

Colby Wooden is having a really good year. He set up Rashan Gary's sack/strip. https://x.com/i/status/1980300819364024477

I was bagging on the guy the last couple of years, but it turns out I was wrong. He really is playing pretty well.

Now, if only it were a cause-and-effect, I could start bagging on Hobbs and maybe he'd play better too. If only I had that kind of power.
