  • Trade For Alexander Da Great!

Nixon keeps getting cooked like eggs. Valentine is an inconsistent sob. Hobbs reeks of Ladarius Gunther - was he benched against the Lumpensteelers? Can’t name any of the backup corners except for WR Bo Milton.

Suffice it to say, ain’t no shutdown corner on Lombardi Ave. This hollow corner corps is the weakest link on the team, and it’s gonna doom the season if shit ain’t done about it.

Shemale Ravens won’t play J-Alex. Just give up a lowly 6th rounder for the dude - as a thank you for lowing his salary.

The last time the Packers acquired an injury-prone, malcontent, supposedly washed up 28 year old shutdown corner, they got 7 seasons of HOF plays, including a Super Bowl ring, out of the player - talking bout the peerless Carlos Madera-Hijo.

J-Alex’s riverfront condo ain’t been sold yet. Time for the shutdown corner to come home.

The way you identified the problem is right, but I kinda doubt your solution does much good. Getting Alexander for maybe a 7th, maybe even a 6th wouldn't be bad - very little risk but likely very little return also. There must be other better Corners that loser teams want to unload at the trade deadline.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Teams rarely trade good corners for cheap. I reckon, J-Alex is still a good corner. But he simply does not fit the “culture” there in Baltimore.

Gotta clean up the current corner shit, or it’s gonna stink like that season where the Packers had Lazard, MVS and St. Paul playing WR in the playoffs instead of OBJ. Season ended in shit.

The Packers have the shittiest CB corps in the NFL.

Why would you give up anything for a guy who has been a healthy inactive in several games, a d.n.p. when active in another and who has performed very poorly when he did get into the game? Media in Baltimore has argued it is time to recognize the mistake and release him.

Good player for a few years, but didn't hold up.

Should we make him an offer if he were released?

Dude’s only 28. Maybe he’s a misfit in Baltimore’s D. Even if J-Alex isn’t what he used to be, I reckon, he’s still better than the bums currently playing for the Pack.

If Pack could bring J-Alex back without giving up a draft pick, great. But a 6 to pay J-Alex something like 3M instead of something like 15M is a fair deal.

Acquiring J-Alex would be considered an upgrade given how shitty the CB unit currently is.

Who cares how old he is? Apparently, he is broken down to the point of not being even a legit NFL backup.

I tend to doubt "his time is done". It's also far from a sure thing that he will return to a quality level better than Valentine, Hobbs, or Nixon (in that order). I think somebody will take a chance on him - either a trade of a 6th or 7th or just signing him if he is cut. I wouldn't mind if the Packers did it.

If a team gets him in trade, they're stuck with his big salary, right?

No. His base salary with the Ravens is 2 million. So it comes down to about 118,000 per game.

Good to know. In that case, I really wouldn't mind giving him a try - unless they really know of something chronically wrong with him, physically I mean.

Sounds like just the kind of cornerback that will lift the Packers to a SB title!

If his name wasn't Jaire Alexander, would anybody be clamoring for a player with his injury history and quality of recent play, in addition to the healthy scratches? I think not.

Let em know P-Money!! Jaire didn’t want to play here or there. He might be best suited flipping burgers with APB. But he would likely call in sick every Sunday.

Probably still a better gambler than poor ol’ APB.
